ive been runnin ipod linux on my nano with ipl loader 2.4 for tha longest!!!

until i read some thread saying i need 2.5! Anywayze this worked for me so it should work for yall too. especially for those with first gen nanos!!!! PS.when u install this linux is there try changing your loader.cfg to

backlight = 1

Apple @ ramimg

Rockbox @ (hd0,1)/.rockbox/rockbox.ipod

Sleep @ standby

Disk Mode @ diskmode

iPodLinux @ (hd0,2)/linux.bin

yeah cause you need winrar. its a special file and when it sais find it means find a program that can open it but since i have winrar i can run it. just download winrar and it will work

i had this problem, but then i found out how to get it working. Go into itunes and connect your ipod, go to your ipod on itunes (or rightclick on ipod and click options for older versions of itunes) and check the box "Enable Disk Use" Hope this helps

ok i had rockbox and linux both installed on my ipod, thn i followed your steps to get the lodaer to chose what i want to run. But thn when i start my ipod up it just had Apple os, Rockbox and sleep, linux isnt on the list. plz help man.

and discmode i forgot, it chose everyone but discmode, and i watched yur other vid and already did tht. my backgruound for the loader is red, isnt supposed ot be blue?? j/w

yeah it is suppossed to be blue. go back to video HOW TO FIX LINUX  and read the video description i put how to fix your problem on there. if u cant figure it out send me a message and ill make a video

ok go to ipodlinux(Dot)org/ipodlinux_ma­nager and under WINDOWS VERSION it will have a warning and a blue link sayin THIS ONE . download it and name it linux then drag it to ur ipod root and delete the linux.bin that is already in there. then linux should work.... SUBSCRIBE

wat tutorial did u follow to install linux. most tutorials are outdated and tell u to install the wrong file. give me a week or something and ill make u a tutorial to do it right
