You should question!! A nasal sound is not the basis for anything!! You need air support!! You need to dissect the air from the sound!! Why would you study a technique with someone who's "awesome example" sounds terrible!!??

I have done this experimentally, without knowing of this. I have compared it on how I sang otherwise. It really works. It gives you more space to make different vocal sounds.

This is a GREAT method... but the only one BIG HOLE is: everyone who apply this will sing like every other person who studies the same method. All clones of the method... like SLS, like opera singers, like everyone who studies a setting method. Setting destroies vocal personality. Listen to Beyonce, to Usher, to J. Hudson, to Stevie Wonder: great singers but all of 'em have the same way to approach to singing=same voice quality. Our imperfetcions and characteristics make us unic.

I respect your opinion. But a method that teaches you how to use your instrument will not make you sound like other artists. The most important component to the way an artist sounds is their musical influences and personal artistic expression. Singing success has nothing to do with the artistic use of a persons voice. It is merely the development of the instrument. Similar to fender has one way of making a telecaster but 2 different artists can play it drastically different

Something that I've learned over the years is singing takes practice and a lot a lot of repetition. It's not like you learn the technique that magically fixes your voice. Like Jesse said, it takes a lot of "building up." I think all singers just need patience and repetitive practice. :-)

I have a big belty voice and a barely have a head voice so whenever i sing i just belt it out! And one of my singing teachers likes the way i belt so much but another one is more on your side but i can't do your first excersize because i am working on jaw excersizs because my jaw is to tight so that excercize of yours wouldnt work!
