The old charger I have goes up to 4 amps. It doesn't have a switch to select it; just a 6/12 volt switch and I set it on 12. If I remember correctly, the needle went up to about 2+ amps. I left it on over night on each end of the exhaust. Some pieces cleaned up better than others and over all, it was worth the small effort.

How many amps do you set it to?
