This is such an awesome song, such an atmosphere it buils. This needs to get some more attention somehow, even if it's more then 40 years old. Great to see they're still going on.

Peter Rechter has kept the Tol-Puddle Martyrs alive to the present day. They have put out a couple of superb CDs of new material in 2007 and 2009 and the standard is still as great as it was when this classic single was made. God bless 'em!

Thanks from one of Peter's good friends in the States pulling for him! Peter has uploaded some of the other videos under TolPuddleMartyrs1967. Videos such as Claudette Jones, Thinking About You are also out there..they are boss!

It seems there was awareness of this song back in the 60's, but never on a US label. Peter is working ever so hard to succeed in this area, and hopefully I have helped a lot. The song, however did make Neil Young's Top 1000 all time songs of protest last year/early this year and had peaked at #8 I believe.
