They ought to round up all the wind chimists, gather them all in a big field, and then BOMB THE FUCKING BASTARDS !

People that have wind chimes are a bunch of unconsidered SHITS!

  • @a1mint fight them =p

  • @a1mint

"Wind chimes are *annoying* as HELL!"

It really doesn't make sense why you've chosen to watch a video entitled "WIND CHIMES" then. Trolls are funny.

  • @zeonicninja I fucking hate those goddamn wind chimes and I think people that place them where neighbors can hear them are inconsiderate selfish assholes.

I'm doing my bit to make damn well sure that people know that THAT is what people around think. And to people that think "I don't care", believe you me, your attitude will haunt you and eventually bite you in the ass.

  • @a1mint

"I'm doing my bit to make damn well sure that people know that THAT is what people around think. "

People from around where, another planet? I've never been approached by anyone in real-life about something as stupidly trivial as wind chimes. I'm pretty sure that in a subdivision motorcycles, cars, trucks, loud music, children, parties and barking dogs are more "annoying" than wind chimes.

  • @zeonicninja It's not trivial. People are afraid to bring it up, because it would mean deteriorating the relation quality with the offending neighbor and risking gossip.

Fact is, wind chimes are annoying and a nuisance. Other noises can also be a nuisance but those are normal noises. Wind chimes is about someone else controlling the atmosphere. It is an unwanted intrusion.

  • @a1mint

What you're really saying to me is that the individuals who believe "chimes are annoying" in reality are afraid of others seeing their hypocritical desire to attune the atmosphere to fit their preference. If the "hatred" of chimes really was a common belief shared by the majority, then there wouldn't be a "fear" of upsetting the harmony of neighborhood relations.

Also, someone needs to explain to you that any one sound can be "normal" in one context, but "abnormal" in another.

  • @zeonicninja The people hanging wind chimes in their backyards are the ones that are disturbing the piece. You can't turn that around.

Some googling about wind chimes, it's clear that the majority of the articles that involved opinions, are such that most people find them annoying, not pleasurable.

And even if most find them not annoying (I'm talking about the people that have to listen to them, not the ones that hung them up), enough people find it annoying for it to be rude to have them.

  • @a1mint

"The people hanging wind chimes in their backyards are the ones that are disturbing the piece. " Assuming that you mean "peace," it's funny to me that you think you have the right to control what's in someone else's backyard. Call the police on the offender and see how long they'll laugh in your face when you tell them your problem. Oh and if "enough people find it annoying for it to be rude to have them," wind chimes would be part the local noise ordinance. That is a "real" fact.

  • @zeonicninja

I find it disgusting to see how people like you think it is ok to impose their noises onto others. You seem to think your rights are more important than others right.

You simply do not recognize that it really bothers some people. You think there is something wrong with them. The people that are bothered by them can not help it. They really can't. You selfish prick!

  • @a1mint

I'm a "selfish prick" because chime haters are too ignorant to file a complaint? Sorry to break this to you, but in the year 2010 real-life problems aren't fixed by trolls bitching on the internet. If someone is intelligent and civil enough to approach me about the annoyance my wind chimes allegedly pose, then I'll gladly take them down. This is my final reply to you, because I now realize that I'm dealing with a complete moron devoid of any "sound logic." Chew on that pun for a while.

  • @zeonicninja

People need to realize that these damn things are annoying and just not put them up in the first place.

Anyone who puts them up knowing that others are annoyed by them is being an asshole.

See if you find that logical.

  • @a1mint where do you live? I'll move next door, and cultivate a vast wind chime farm 24 hours a day!

I think you just hate music, because you are unable to feel yourself.

  • @fleshofdanny

Thank you for demonstrating the type of selfish assholes that use these devices.

There are many different sorts of music, wind chimes not being one of them.

  • @a1mint "There are many different sorts of music" <----- Thank YOU for showing people how intolerant and hypocritical you are of your opinion.

  • @fleshofdanny And you're a selfish asshole that thinks that others ought to have to put up with whatever the hell you feel like.

  • @a1mint I just pity you, for you are not awake :)

  • @fleshofdanny You're an asshole, you know that right?

  • @a1mint

A question: If you hate wind chimes so much, then why are you watching a video about them?

  • @StarwarriorUchiha I'm doing my bit to raise awareness how intrusive and irritating these things are to many people. It helps others that also find it annoying understand that they're not alone, and it'll make people that put them up realize that others around them are annoyed and irritated.

  • @a1mint

Well, I appreciate you answering my question politely. Some people start to yell when they have people question them. I personally love wind chimes, but I respect your opinion.

  • @a1mint yep yep, I'm an asshole....asshole who loves wind chimes :)

  • @fleshofdanny Your antisocial behavior was abundantly clear right from the get go.

  • @a1mint I admit, I am anti-social....but with good reason. Whiners like yourself bitching about wind chimes sure as hell aren't inspiring me to go make a friend. I'm a very happy man, anti-socially :)

  • @fleshofdanny So you're ok with the idea that people around you hate you then. You're showing that with some people there is no solution possible. No wonder people warmonger.

  • @a1mint What can I say? I'm a liberal living in a conservative environment, I have to be ok with the idea of people hating me, because I know they do.

I know if a neighbor ever approached me with a complaint about my chimes, and if they were kind and respectful about it...you bet I'd take them down. I'm not so hung up on myself that I would be disrespectful to them in return.

are you having a problem with a neighbor?

  • @fleshofdanny I'm a liberal as well. But what does that really mean? Shows you how all this political labeling is a complete bunch of bullshit. As if all "Liberals" (what really means, liking to be grouped in such) think all alike. Also means that not all "Conservatives" think alike either. Politics ought to be a multidimensional playing field as opposed to this one dimensional bigotry.

And complaining is potentially embarrassing and exposes one to risks of neighborhood gossip.

  • @a1mint How the hell do you get on the subject of politics via a video about WIND CHIMES?

  • @SabbraCadabra

    fleshofdanny started it.

  • love this stuff, now all i need is a hamock

  • the sounds and your dreams is so sweet that you would never wake up.

  • some reason that sound always creeps me out

  • What a cool thing to put on youtube! And on a SPING day, no less!

  • i like turtles

  • reely!!! me too!! O3O

  • luv wind chimes thanx
