To mariejoonam. I think you mean left wing. Okay, I am not a right-wing republican fanatic, but I am a moderate leaning slightly more to the republican side. Anyway, we right wing people are on the side of the protesters, and I do indeed hope this revolution succeeds. Oh, and here is what makes some people accuse me of being a right wing fanatic. I believe Israel needs to defend itself from a Nuclear Iran. If Iran got the bomb, they'd use it on Israel eventually.

The Quran teaches hatred of jews, and for that reason, eventually a leader would come along with the will to use the Nuclear bomb against Israel in their 'Holy War'. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. For that reason, Israel cannot afford to let Iran have a Nuclear program, because it's their people that will be murdered if that happens.

Though I disagree Israelis foreign policy but I total agree that Iran and other radical Arab nation such as the future Hezbollah Lebanon would use nuclear weapon against Israel in the future. So I US are so timid to eradicate the problem, Israel should take up the task. However, the daunting task is much much more difficult than Iraqi strike in early 80 coz Iran is a much stronger foe and Mossad is not powerful and competent as then. So the

Ideally, I'd like the whole world to unite against Iran on this issue, but that is not going to happen. Here is what I think will happen. Israel will be forced to act alone, and then the rest of the world will vilify them, because the rest of the world doesn't care about if Jews in Israel are hit with a Nuclear bomb. They'd rather wait until it happened, then go after Iran, after hundreds of thousands of jews are already dead. Israel, on the other hand, does care about preventing that.

Anyway, after Israel attacks Iran's nuclear Facilities, Iran will demand sanctions against Israel, and the morons at the UN will probably agree, because they don't care about Israel's right to protect itself. I am neither Israeli, nor am I jewish, but I believe in common sense and in their right to defend themselves, and if I was president of the United States, even if I stayed out of the fight, I'd give Israel technology to increase chances of success, because a quick win is a necessity.

I don't think Israel could succeed in destroying the N arsenal coz Iran is too big too expose the hideout of N arsenal . Also, with Chinese help under the table, Iran would also miniaturize the missiles which could easily be dispersed. As technology progress since WWII, a Pineapple size warhead can deliver several times equivalence of the power like the bomb dropped on Nagasaki in WWII.

No matter who is in power,even Mickey or Madonna in power, he/she will pursuit the Nuclear fantasy because of Patriotism, and Nationalism . Furthermore, if the current regime was ever toppled ,(however, in my opinion, the chance is extremely remote like playing Russian Roulette),the new boss will keep the program going on whatsoever. Regime change doesn't alter political environment in Middle East. The game will still be played in old format in whch Iran will still support Hezabolla in Lebanon.

Regime change or not, Israel cannot afford to let them become a Nuclear power, as I previously said. Even if one president will not use the Nuke against Israel, the next one might, so, as I said, it's not a matter of IF it will happen, it's a matter of WHEN it will happen.

If Israel does not succeed at destroying Iran's Nuclear facilities in the first hours of battle, then Iran will call upon other nations to help them, among them probably Russia, because Russia lacks common sense. Russia is giving Iran surface to air weapons to be used to defend their Nucrlear facilities, so they can build the bomb in peace. I predict Israel will attack before they can get and set up those weapons, again, to minimize Israeli casualties.
