I'm not a Slumdog fan, a little because I just didn't enjoy the movie, but mostly because now the producers and such are rolling in cash, and they sent the child stars right back to the slums. They tore down some of their houses, last month, too. These kids are treated like nothing, but people are making money off of it. I think that's sad.

They put the money in a trust fund.....do you even watch the latest news....one of the kids from the movie has just moved out of the slums and now lives in a normal house.

honestly, this was the worst decison the academy made. I think all the other nominees were better in this category. Not saying the scrennpaly was bad, just that the others were better, Wouldve wanted to see the reader or bejamin button win!

Kind of funny how he called Dev Patel by his real name and Frieda Pinto by her character's name. But still, seems like a nice man, and he wrote a great screenplay.
