Rarely, UNLESS a patient has lost a lot of blood, Providing one is on call and has access to emergency blood, AND the patient cannot be moved, IE, legs severed, lost lots of blood, wedged in car.
@KieranClarke999 Kieran your comment as rule is true but i can assure you its not the 1st time in N.Ireland durning the troubles that a blood/fluid car/van has been requested to attend with extra blood and fluids. I am not correcting you but passing this on as usful information.

Did you know that A&E Ambulances are no longer allowed to Transport Blood or Organs ! More so with blue lights and sirens!!
Silly law if you ask me but thats the new road traffice act .
