The gran knew the pit bull terrier hated little Ellie & had pleeded with the uncle to get rid of the dog, but he refused. It took little Ellie to lose her life for the dog to be destroyed. People shouldn't trust these evil breeds of dog!

Pits are only responsible for a slightly higher rate of attacks. That could possibly be attributed to a higher popularity. Most dog attacks can be prevented, but are not because of irresponsible owners.

actually pits are responsible for slightly more minor bites and slightly more fatalities but the CDC doesnt track severity of the bite wounds. This is the problem...People dont know the real severity of their attacks. they far outweigh those of other breeds.

i am from Liverpool and alot has been in the papers about her life/death...its so sad (i was bitten by a dog at 7 bled so bad i almost passed out) and that was only with one injury to my shoulder...(i could never imagine having 72 injuries) 22 of those just to her head...poor little girl...my son is 4 (just a year younger than her) and every person who dies before their time touches my heart...

I am a Pitbull owner. I'm having a baby, and I know I will NEVER leave my baby alone with my dog, though I trust her. Please, DON'T ever leave a kid alone with a dog!!!!!!! Don't ever leave your kid where you know there's a dog! Take care of you kids. Keep your eyes on them ALWAYS.
