Good luck with all of those ...as far as the exercise one most doctors say a nice walk is best...I want to get back into doing that but then the day is gone and I did not walk...it is so hard to get into doing something like that.. make some sticky notes about walking and stick them around the house...
@DawndeeDALLAS Hey Dawn! You're right it is hard to get into the hbit and make the time. I was watching a woman a couple weeks ago that said she started out doing 5 minutes a day 6 times a day just to get in 30 minutes a day. Hope you have a great 2012!
Since seeing that Hoarder show I'm super conscience of what I do. I can see how easy it can be to do. Good luck with the debit card. It would be hard for me but I bet it is possible. The couponing queens amaze me. I'm so not organized to do that. Hmmm I'll have to think about it if I have any resolutions. Not there aren't a ton of things I could be doing better. : )
@capergirl1976 Hey Beautiful!!! Hope that you're feeling OK and doing better. I know what you mean about the coupon thing. My friend says that she can teach me how to make it practically painless but she also has a huge binder that she uses to keep all the coupons, sale flyers and info straight. That just sounds like a lot of work to me but we'll see how it goes as I'm for saving money. Hope you have an amazing 2012 filled with lots of LOVE and good health! <3
I could never not take the debit card with me. Debit cards are more popular here in canada. I never have more than twenty bucks on me at a time. Every where you go has a debit terminal. In the USA every time I go I find it irritating that stores don't have them.
@wpgpeanut Happy New Year Mandy! It's great to hear from you,it's been a while. Hope that you and the kids are doing well. Here (in Ohio anyway) you can get charged a fee by using your card as a debit card rather than a credit card in stores and restaurants. The other big issue with using it as a debit card is that it is much easier to have your identity stolen using debit than credit. We do have some ATM machines in stores and bars but not as many as it seems that we used to.
@SunnyDazStormyNitz Don't you guys have the "chip" cards yet? I do the books for a store and they do 90% of sales through bank and credit cards. Here we pay a monthly fee for so many transactions. We get charged extra for bank machines that are not are bank per transaction. It is so weird that we are so close but do things so different. I am unsure if the rest of Canada is as card crazy as we are in Winnipeg. I find it odd to carry cash on me, even when travelling.
