@CJELLIOTT666 about $1000 but you need a tank about 10,000 gallons or more to hold an adult black tip reef shark pups can be held in a 2500 gallon tank minimum
omg where did you buy the leopard sharks. Ive been looking for certain types of fish that they dont sell as domesticated marine life. how do i order them, the leopard shark is one of them. I actually wanted a mini nurse shark too, but forget it, i can't even find a leopard shark.
@MrNother23 Leopard Sharks are federal groundfish. Selling them or owning them ANYWHERE in the united states is a federal offense. They get over six feet long, and are impossible to maintain in home aquaria.
@mmmmmarcus So you're a leopard shark enforcement officer? Is part of your job looking at youtube videos of leopard sharks to point out possible offenders who keep them?
@mmmmmarcus oooo you told me off. right? I have a 200k freshwater tank. in my business that I single-handedly put together. Dad was a part time marine biologist. I worked to help launch the georgia aquarium, and helped stock the great lakes aquarium. Do me a favor and look to the right side m. self-righteous. And tell me if you don't see many videos with the name "leopard shark" in them. Now do me another favor and give me yor e-mail so I can show you the leopard shark I purchased 2 weeks ago.
@MrNother23 I already know it's legal to own a leopard shark with a scientific permit. I was merely attempting to warn you, to prevent you from incurring serious legal trouble. Also, I reported this video to the DFG. This tank actually ended up being a public aquarium. Lol Fail for me, but DOUBLE-FAIL for TVCIWIN for pretending. However, my fail is also YOUR FAIL. So we all fucking fail, and NONE of us can act high-and-mighty! Email yourself, you blood-soaked tampon!
@mmmmmarcus Lol, so you just said it was illegal to own a leopard shark and that it was a federal offense, now you're saying it isn't illegal without a scientific permit. Well, in a sense, no fish at all is legal without a permit. So actually you fail. As for the comment regarding women menstrual cycles....I won't touch on that. Instead I will say that you either have a very sick mind, you're schizophrenic, or you should probably just grow up.
@mmmmmarcus I never said it wasn't illegal either. Are you okay? You seem a little different. Judging by the urge I get to say your username, you sound as if you have annunciation or literary problems.
if anyone has any questions about anything underwater or fish or all the rest, feel free to ask me, you can contact me at( j o r d a n j o f f e 1@ g.... ) ( no spaces)and i will try answer you question as soon as posible
@dkrn09 sometimes smaller sharks will feel too small to be able to attack larger fish, and some fish, like angel fish just don't taste as good to sharks, that's why angel fish are often used in saltwater tanks because they get along with most fish/sharks very well.
not really you do need to have a little more money and you do need to like fish tanks. it is more work but it gets easy and easier to maintain a saltwater tank.
@ferox1011 its a hassle for people who dont actually care enough about having a saltwater tank. otherwise you realize its actually not much work at all for what you are getting in return.
@ferox1011 Hey, don't listen to them. I've kept a 75 gallon saltwater tank for about a year. It is very similar to a freshwater tank. If you're interested, give it a try!
@ferox1011 I don't think it's that bad. All it takes is an cleaning of the walls to see every few days and some water changes and feedings. Granted, you do have to change water more often, you don't have to filter the gravel anymore often. I often just pump water out and then pump more back in. It's more difficult to get the walls to stay clean than in fresh water because you can't just drop a pleco in there but the stuff that sticks to the walls comes off easy.
@ferox1011 after what i have heard it a bit more work than a freshwater but ass long as you got the time you fickle with it it shouldn't be such stress even though the saltwater fishes are often more wonreble to temperature and water quality.
@ferox1011 its not a hasle if you know what your doing and what your buying i have a 50 gallon and the tank practicaly takes care of itself naturaly all i need to do as a owner is to clean the filter monthly clean out the protein skimmer and feed the fish- so realy its not a hasle after you get started
@whitneykingery there are some on the internet, check, ps if yo live in america you have a high chance of finding a sight i live in th uk so im not so lucky
