Just sat here and read through the comments. Do you guys REALLY think this was vote on talent? Really? Michael Grimm .. IMO .. won because a whole lot of young women thought he was a good looking guy .. and called in and voted multiple times. While I personally like Jackie better .. I don't believe she beat out Anna and Patryk over talent .. again think it was voters that 'liked' one better then the other. Sorry. That's the way this old world works.

To me it wasn't the fact that the poor child fell....they were wonderful, professional, and truly talented. What separated the two acts was that Anna and Patryk touched everyone's hearts but Jackie touched everyone's soul.

I thought "Sing Sing Sing" by Benny Goodman was a very good number for their dancing.  There's nothing wrong with big band swing music. I still voted for Jackie though. I'm astonished everytime I hear/see her sing. BRAVO JACKIE !

If I could I would than Anna and Patryk for sharing their talent with the world. I hope we seen more of them in the future. I know we will see more of Jackie. Anna and Patryk didn't lose because of Anna's stair slip and fall. They lost because of their song choice in the final routine! If they had chosen a more current song and danced to that, they might have been in the top three!!! Michael Grimm won and deservedly so, but he got the pity vote in the end to win. He had nothing. Anna and Patryk will go on to bigger and better things as well as Jackie Evancho! Michael won and I wish him the best! But we all know who the true winner was, Jackie Evancho!

The AGT producers 'declared' Grimm winner, which is their right/privilege under the Official Rules (see them at the AGT website). The general consensus was that JE's star was rising so rapidly she was not going to be able to trundle around America meeting any commitment to headline the AGT Tour (26 shows) that would come with winning.
