The way the hose burst, the Kero went more or less up and down, and not into the Turbine itself. Had that happened, it probably would have flashed-over and started a nice little BBQ lol.
If this happened inside and Aircraft, I think it would have been a Total - by the time you realised what was going on, she'd already have a belly full of fuel and a fire too boot... not good.
