  • just tie the rope to the back of a Abram and order a Go ahead... PROBLEM SOLVE!

  • This is so sad! i really feel for him && things like this can happen :(

  • yea he did not breack any bones was because if id see there was mud were the boy was on the tree fell n him and landed on the mud

  • that almst happened to me, but i was really lucky that time, i just jumpt at the side and my best friend taked my hand and pulled me to her. only my foot trapped in it. or else i would be dead now. so i ahve her to thanks that im living today.

  • lol tree boy the tree had baby lol Xd=D

  • this is one of those REALLY freak accidents that you never would think of happening until it does.

  • i feel so bad 4 them sssssooooooooooooo sad omg omg

  • Woo, that kid got balls! The moement the tree landed he must of though;

    "Well fuck." and not;

    "OMG!! HELP!! AAAAAAAAAWHHHH!!!!!!"

"I'll be out soon. *cable snaps* MAN WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!"

That kid has (got my sympaty of course) and RESPECT!!

  • my favorite line in this episode is, "I'm hungry and I want some steak and potatoes." He is precious

  • he didnt break any bones is because the ground was soft from the rain

  • They HAVE to ask how the patient's doing for the following reasons:

    1) To find out whether the patient is conscious

    2) To find out whether he's feeling pain (however odd it may seem, the absence of pain indicates a deeper phase of trauma)

    3) To discern the mental status of the patient, meaning how upset he is.

    4) To find out what he says is the problem, and add it to the Subjective Complaint slot on the Prehospital report.

  • Thank God for Great people....

  • OMG SOOO SAD

  • thank goodness the ground was soft and muddy. probably saved the kid's life.

  • Why do sick bastards like "

    TheTrage2" even bother to comment?

  • OMG does the police guy say: "How you doing man?" when he comes at scene or I am crazy? O.o

  • You're not crazy. I heard it too.

  • @BorisJankovic to make sure hes ok did you not listen stress is the first thing to lead to shock he was trying to inform the child that everything was gonna be ok

  • thank you

  • I love videos like this. Even those all or most of this is reacted, you can see the love in the grandfather's eyes for the grandson and the hope.

  • My God!!! AND HE SURVIVED THAT SUGAR!!

  • Whats really amazing is that after that tree fell on that boy and then when that cable snaped it is amazing that he is not dead

  • no one can be lucky as him he is such a small child amazing he did surive and make it out alive poor lad it must of been distressing 4 his family glad he ok tho

  • Lol, I want some steak and potatoes!

  • No broken bones? That is one very lucky kid...

  • should have cslled the ambulance first

  • Those are big roots!!

  • how could the tree root literally "eat" the boy like that.

  • how do they make these re-enactments?

  • no idea...

  • some of it is c g i graphics and some is pieced together with survivor statements

  • Did they even have CGI back then? It doesn't look to me like they used any computer graphics. In this one, it looks like they sawed the tree and let the roots fall while no one was underneath, but the editing gives you the illusion that the boy was there. I've seen a few were it looked like they may have used a green screen, but most of them look like a combination of stunts, manual special effects, and slick editing.

  • maybe most editing and graphics ive seen are created on a blue screen stage but no matter how fake or real in this case real its still awesome

  • @killman369547 i can inform you that this video is as real as you and me

  • might have been a fake tree too. foam or some such with really good acting and editing.

  • this is real all over

  • Yeah some of the old fashioned stuff looks more real than the fancy computer graphics things they do today!

  • @allgood2000 this is a real video and situation

  • I was thinking about the same thing actually...

  • I want some Steak and Potatoes!

  • why didn't he just hook up a chain and pull it off with his truck? its the first thing I thought of as soon as I seen the tree fall on him.

  • underneath!!!!

    poor boy

i burned my hands and feet on hot coals

    somehow simaler to this

I LAYED ON THOSE HOT COALS!!!

    but he suffered

and i think he needs a reward for being brave!!!!

  • Louisiana version of "Logger's lament" LOL.

  • this is like "Loggers Lament" #115, but it involves a child not an experienced logger.

  • Boy, that first on the scene paramedic had his priorities backwards!

"My primary concern was to keep the child calm"

... How about making sure he's breathing? Has a pulse? has a patent airway? has vital signs?

I know its scary for a kid, but I'd much rather see a patient screaming at the top of his lungs than one who is way too quiet.

  • @cwistaff how can you check that stuff when he is uner a fucking tree

  • @heidibugg2010 what bothers me is the paramedic's misunderstanding of how shock works.. it's best to keep the kid's adrenaline flowing, because the minute that stops, llke when he is calmed down, THEN shock sets in, in response to all that overflowing adrenaline. if the child stays in a hyper-alert state, the adrenaline his body is producing will be utilized to keep his blood flowing to vital organs.

  • @cwistaff you have to realize how much medical science has changed and medical education even within the past 10 years, i commented recently on another vid, they always do cpr with 5 chest pumps then 2 breaths but now its taught that you do 30 and 2, now i dont know if maybe they changed that for the show to shorted in up but i doubt it as the main goal was education in cpr and first aid.

  • @xXxXBleedPurpleXxXx The 5:1 or 12:2 techniques were just the way CPR was taught back in the 90's. I took a CPR class in 2002 and it was still taught that way. I'm not sure when 30:2 became the standard, but I think it was within the past 10 years.

  • @heidibugg2010 therefore, trying to calm the kid while he is still unreachable to be treated for said shock is not a good idead

  • its lucky hes alive! amazin dat he lived dat

  • i bet you the little boy learned its safer to play away from where grandpa is cutting big old trees that have fallen

  • If anyone has the first two segments from this episode about a tractor accident and a girl getting her finger stuck in a desk, please message me.

  • Is that tractor with hay blade that broke chain then hay rolled on him. Cause him to unable to move his body?

  • No, that was from Episode 512.

  • o.0 The first thing you take care of is the root trap... Close to the base of the tree.

Someone should take that old dudes chainsaw, melt it down and make nails of it.

Or maybe a jack, to lift the trap =P

  • Hahaha, Indeed!

  • I think he needs to either get a new chain or sharpen the one he was using. It should cut a lot faster then that.

  • all i have to say is ouch

  • Do you have The segement from this episode about the boy who is trapped under a tractor?

  • Nope. That's one of the few I still need. I also need the one where a girl got her finger stuck in a desk.

  • Oh, I don't know where to get them.

  • Also the guitar segment, and the wagon accident!

I've been asking for those for MONTHS now!

  • I REMEMBER that one! Little girl play her finger in desk hole. Suddenly finger got caught stuck in. Teacher tried to get girl's finger out, It fail so teacher told other to call firefighter. After firefighter arrive, they tried few other thing, All stuff aren't work so last thing is cut up the desk. When its done Little girl bring to hospital. Doctor and firefighter help get desk hole out from her finger out.

That what are you look for? I might know someone who has.

  • Yes, that's the one I'm looking for. Do you also remember the story before that about a tractor accident?

  • it was nobodys fault , it was an accident !!

  • the only at fault hear is gravty

  • doesnt he look like hed be a great grandpa

  • i also want to see where the girl gets her finger stuck in the desk

  • That's one of about 20 segments that I don't have.

  • go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, rescue 911 has 435 votes

  • If anyone has the rest of this episode on tape, I need the first two segments with a tractor accident and a girl getting her finger stuck in a desk. Message me if you have these, I would be willing to trade some episoes for them.

  • that was so sad

    from Tess

  • OMFG!!! I would never have thought that could happen. That is amazing. Poor kids, poor grandfather, how awful that must have been.

  • holy crud im sorry bout this bad storm. very scary video. 1 of the reasons i like rescue 911 is becuz. every1 is ok and never do they die wat a miracle. so glad to hear

  • Actually there are some where people die, but it's usually when there are multiple victims and someone also survives.

  • i'd be F***** scared

    he didn't speak

    at all

    it would be good *sorta*

if he screamed so he could get peoples attention!!!

  • oh snap!!! he was stuck under there for a long time omg!

  • omg i can't believe the boy got stuck underneath.

  • this was the only interesting segment i've seen because there are no other segments dealing with kids trapped under the root span of the tree, actually there's the segment called "Logger's Lament" where a tree rolls down on to a logger.

  • Absolutely unbelievable! Hollywood couldn't dream up real-life events like this.
