Roy been through more wars than Calzaghe. Roy went from Middle weight, Super Middle weight, Light heavy weight, skipped a class and went up to light heavy weight then went all the way back down. Calzaghe stayed in his weight class and berly went up. So you can't say Roys only 2-3 years older. But I'm not hattin' on Calzaghe. I give him his props! Roy got too cocky, he shoulda finished him off but hey! Calz got the victory!

I'm not a huge fan of Taylor, but I hope he beats Froch, cause I dont like that big mouthed guy at all, and Taylor is a much better fighter anyway. His uppercutt was working great against Lacy, that's not a punch he used a lot in the past.

YOU should get your facts straight. Since he retired, Calzaghe isn't in the rankings anymore as a p4p, a smw, anything. On top of that, his last 2 fight were at LH. So now the best smw is arguably Kessler. Ironically, that's what Joe said himself too.

mrPR2490, actually one of the two Taylor wins vs BHop came by SD and he drew vs Winky Wright. More important: He didn't impress me much, not even when he knocked down Kelly Pavlik in round 2 and couldn't finish him off but got stopped in round 7.
Watch a complete Kessler fight (vs. Librado Andrade, the Mexican who knocked down Boxrec's No. 1, SMW champion Lucien Bute in round 12 last October). Kessler outclassed Andrade and if you watch carefully you can see a champ and the best at SMW.

Think Froch could take Taylor clean out but he could get outboxed.Although it speaks volumes that Taylor wouldnt travel to the uk to fight but expects the champ to go to America. We'll see.

very true. his corner should have stopped the fight. he is paying for it now. he doesnt have any confidence anymore, plus he has no chin now. his first fight after the calzaghe fight he almost got knocked out off a soft right. it was almost a jab. he will never recover from the calzaghe fight. kinda like vargas never recovered from the trinidad fight. sucks but thats the nature of this sport

Froch talks a lot of Trash. Jermaine could give Calzaghe a better fight. Calzaghe needs one more good fight. I haven't seen Dawson much but I think he's the only guy who can keep up with Joe, and maybe have the stamina and handspeed. Kessler is beating everyone else and is slept on still. Kessler's best way to prove to US is to take out Pavlik or Abraham.
