Thanks man! Very very informative, I appreciate you looking out for all those new aggressive inline skaters. It's gonna come back better than ever one day.
Hi everyone! Greetings from Canada. I age 38 and new to aggressive skating. I am having so much fun I made a you-tube channel to record my progress and I also made a website with useful information for others starting out in rollerblading. check it out: MonkeyThink(dot)com -- peace
I'm always so nervous to break in my skates, I always get scared I'll ruin the frames or something :P like groove it weird. Is it possible to do that?
@vidascool CANNOT AGREE MORE I just started skating and jesus these frames suck! cant even break them in since they're so flat i eat crap so much on them! haha but its cuz im a noob too but these frames aren't helping! im going to get some ground controls featherlites or some Xsjado mook frames because its the same but cheaper.
I think it depends on your style. I don't see the point when you roll with anti-rockers because they lock you in but on free style frames I like to do it.
@rafidola ok look u shut up u arnt one who owns amall the leaders in valo one of the top teams and brands they no what theyer doin unlike u who probably is pussy
@aloy101268 yeah, i find it important to break in your grooves, because it helps you lock on better for tricks. without it, you tend to slip around, and not "lock" on because there's nothing to lock with. just get a little v shaped nitch into your h-blocks and backslides, and you're set
very heart-wrenching to do, especially on new expensive frames. but people have testified to making it easier to lock and balance with v shaped grooves on the h-block
@DagzOneBedford no kidding... i just got some new slimlimes... im dying just watching all that nice pastic go to waste... but your right, way better locks.
@markopizza yeah! i recently grooved my Ground Control Featherlite 2 frames, and they lock in REALLY good. i couldn't clear the rail with my hblock tricks, but now i can because they stay locked. to anyone who reads this, please groove your hblocks!
@m0n3y1992 ahah a little tip is try stuff dont make the mistake i did
Since i was 12 when i got my first skates... i was scared to try stuff... I only know a soul, mizou, porn, frontside, and back unity... Ive been skating for 1 year and for 1 yr that kind of sucks... When i first started i always watched the people that were better than me... when i moved to TN i was like... i need to make a comeback.. so i tried new grinds ( stalls ) and they took 40min each of nonstop practice to learn em
@flowerpotproductions yeah im scared to try stuff.. might be getting a rail with my friend so ill be trying nonstop shit hahah.. i got the haffey 2.0's and now since i know more about it ill get new liners n everything later heheh.. but yeah learnings hard sometimes :P
@m0n3y1992 ooohh doing the v cut ahah! V cut is actually more fun! Yeah whenever you wanna learn a grind just go to a curb and try doing it.. like if you wanna learn a mizou go to the curb step up on to soulplate then do the hblock and try to hold your balance... then try jumping at it and your gonna miss it a lot but after like 30 -40 min ull get it! When you learn it keep on doing it.. like when u first drop in it feels weird... the next day if u dont do it again youll get scared again
@flowerpotproductions haha yeahh ur right.. i mean its much better when there is someone inspirational doing it next to u.. specifically a friend of mine who rolled.. search for chris buzz holbrook.. i used to blade with him until i left the states.. didnt blade ever since now im doing it again.. and it sure feels new ;)
@flowerpotproductions Same as me, i was scared at frst too. Now everytime i actually try something new and go into it with no hesistation i always do pretty good and never fall.
@roller4life981407 honestly if ur first trick on new blades is a royale u prolly been skating a lil longer i think breaking in is for some of the newer kids like he said at the front and it really matters about ur frame and skate combo u got going on o and congrats on the royale im still trying to hit royales
@roller4life981407 yes you do man, i got remz os 3 and those things are horrible when you first get them. I guess its just the type of skates you have but this trick really helped me out with my remz.
hey guys, ive just orderd some anarchy chaos 3 blades, and it doesnt mention anything about soul plates, or grind plates or what ever, would i be able to mount some on? or not? please help
depends on the soul plate. i have the usd 2 piece, and i hear they get better when you wear away the first initial layer of plastic. apparently, they're slow at first. other soul plates, however, are problably better out of the box.
frames are for grinding, in between your wheels right in the middle you should have this space where its just smooth plastic its called the H-Block and it is what helps you royal and shit. A backside royal is spinning 180 onto the rail landing in a royal position facing the same direction you came from (thats the best i can do lol, watch videos). If some one says just a 'royal' it could be backside or frontside.
back in the day, i had the feinberg salomons, st8 i think, i used metal grind plates because i skated vert. best shit to use. the way they make skates now, no grindplates are necessary. they dont even sell them anymore i dont think. i have the razor icon 2s, they slide like butter.
ya they are supposed to be amazing. i want to get them to but i am just worried if they are worth the money. just the boot, JUST THE BOOT, is $350. if i get them i wont get them with slim-line frames though. slim-lines look HUGE them.
this is pissing me the fuck off because half of these god damn videos have the sound in the start but not the sound of him talking and these are vids i really need wtf is going on it seems to work for everyone else
i so want those Deshi Carbons, but they're way out of my budge. this video would've been perfect with a Nihm skate since they don't come with a groove at all and gotta make it urself.

iBLaDEzZx 2 years ago
two wheels gives more space to grind on rails and is pretty much necessary if you want to do flat rails.
evilelvis07 2 years ago
your probaly better with 2 on each foot
stephenw94 2 years ago
i was told that its easier if you have 2 wheels. but you can replace the two inside wheels with smaller ones to help with balancing on grinds
phx13balla 2 years ago
the 2 inside ones r anti rockers and yeah those help ur balance

with 4 (flat) you are faster

can you do this on freestyle frames??

stephenw94 2 years ago
Hey i have a question... Whhat does the frames do? im new...
also whats the difference between a backside royale and a royale?
flowerpotproductions 2 years ago
frames are for grinding, in between your wheels right in the middle you should have this space where its just smooth plastic its called the H-Block and it is what helps you royal and shit. A backside royal is spinning 180 onto the rail landing in a royal position facing the same direction you came from (thats the best i can do lol, watch videos). If some one says just a 'royal' it could be backside or frontside.
stephenw94 2 years ago
