It was a co-championship in '97 but Nebraska was a far better team. UM got the nod only by record..and Neb. would've beaten them in a game. Before that, the last UM NC was 1948. They may be a historic program, but not so much in the present. Look at their rankings..#8 in the Big 10..and nowhere near ANY major polls.
nebraska did not play anybody good. they had a weaker conference and an overall weaker schedule. michigan had probably the best defense of all time and won ugly, but won none the less. nebraska was the type of team that new how to blow out people when they didn't put up much of a resistance. and if you look comparatively, michigan was tested more and performed much better against colorado than nebraska did.

My time in the NAVY was in the mid 70's...

But I can say that it had to do with Central America.......No conquests, just missions, that were successful, I might add....
other than that, it is on a need-to-know basis only.....sorry
I can say that most were rescue missions, but mostly covert operations.
I happened to be a squad leader.....and my specialties were communications, sniper, and covert intelligence......

Hey numbnutt..that "shitty ship" only served for 49 years, recieved the Navy Accomendation aAward, and had it's own class carriers named after it. Served several tour in the VietNam campaign, and launched more Combat missions than 3 newer class carriers presently in the Med..I was assigned to VA-192 as an AT3, and worked as Flight Line T/S before being accepted for Seal training.
I was on board for 1 WESPAC tour..

It was a co-championship in '97 but Nebraska was a far better team. UM got the nod only by record..and Neb. would've beaten them in a game. Before that, the last UM NC was 1948. They may be a historic program, but not so much in the present. Look at their rankings..#8 in the Big 10..and nowhere near ANY major polls.

nebraska did not play anybody good. they had a weaker conference and an overall weaker schedule. michigan had probably the best defense of all time and won ugly, but won none the less. nebraska was the type of team that new how to blow out people when they didn't put up much of a resistance. and if you look comparatively, michigan was tested more and performed much better against colorado than nebraska did.

WVU is getting better commits that RR EVER did here......even players recruited by scUM.....not bad for a backwoods little school compared to the" WHININGEST TEAM EVER" !!!

try Michigan is 13th and the backwoods little school is 23rd...wvu avg star rating of players is 2.89 that means you are getting less than avg players overall... damn inbreds can't count

scout has scUM #10 ..3.7 and WVU#18 3.07...so that big scUM up north isn't really that far ahead of this backwoods little 2nd tier school......0.63 isn't that much of a spread...considering that scUM is the whiningest school in history of the universe...except last yrs. 3-9 season ..lol
Plus WVU has 8 4 stars still considering...and Matt Elam was just in Motown, and has said that he may very well choose WVU over his commit to Fla.
And I am sorry your family can't count..crack does that ! lol

rivals which is what everyone goes by in college football has michigan at 3.22 and wvu at 2.82...
