  • Goddamn NICE!

  • Could you have picked a shittier fucking view?

A jungle of hardware and a bunched up rug....and slow motion fucking filming...real nice

  • try to use a camera with more fps or do a diashow it has nearly the same effect like your video

    ;)

  • Psychotic!

  • What ghost notes?

  • @NoaOno what are ghost notes or what ghost notes? which is your question

  • Comment removed

  • RLR L RLR L RLR L RLR L... tricky

  • i cant even talk right now

  • That was seriously impressive. The camera didn't help AT ALL but who cares right? :D

  • Whoa. Amazing man, that is beastly drumming right there. Congrats x1000! \m/

  • LRR- L-RR L--R

repeat this over and over again with your feet :3

  • It sounds like microwave popcorn

  • this song explain why we need to work on paradiddles. lol awesome song and awesome attempt

  • @Dynamitethedrummer

    what do you mean paradiddles?

this is RLR L RLR L on the bass drum not rlrrlrll

  • ahhh no sure not, i mean the changes between the patterns, i think that this song is realy interpretative,i mean that if you can handle this double footwork u can play it in the style that suit u best, limited by tech obviously, i can't really find the fitting pattern for my way to play it, but it's just because i've not enough skilz i think lol.

  • @Dynamitethedrummer

it comes with practice im ALMOST there, a little more speed and more endurance and i got, but ive been practicing non stop for months (just sitting there and doing it.

if you stick to the pattern of RLR L RLR L and stay by it it will come easy.

also start out slowish and work your way up and just focus on the feet only (but keep time with your hands.

  • thanks pal! i'll work on it.. (already sweating..)

  • Thanks man!

  • WOW! Thats one of the most INSANE polyrhythms EVER. No Tomas Haake of course but then again no one is. GREAT Cover

  • this song is pretty insane and I'll post a new video with full song and ghost strokes and everything soon :) thanks!

  • Awesome man!

  • thats not a polyrhythm

    its a polymetre

  • its not ploymetre or polyrhythms its...

hertas and if you dont believe me check this out

i would know this because im in a drumline

    that actually learns rudiments

    here is the video:

    watch?v=RLwyzjoB9B8&feature=related

oh and here is another one you should see:

    watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0

    ^^^you got....

dont ask if you dont know what it is... for the second video

  • sorry i dont even know what i put. i know its a herta, which i think are surprisingly simpilar swiss army triplets. but most meshuggah songs have polymetres in them dont they. and polyrhythms. i just know people get em mixed up all the time

  • lol yeah dude they're hertas, why is everyone saying it's a polyrhythm? guess people who haven't been in a marching band or on a line wouldn't know a rudiment...

  • What the feet are playing is of course a herta, but setting it in a context with what the hands are doing (or the rest of the band for that matter!) makes it a polyrhythm...

  • yeah it's like a 4 against 3 feel in 4/4. therefore polyrhythmic and polymetric

  • it is hertas, but the feel is polyrhythmic/polymetric.

  • can you tell me what a herta is?

  • hertas are a hybrid rudiment sticked as singles with a rhythm of two sixteenth note triplets then two eighth note triplets. this song is polyrhythmic and polymetric because the rudiment is being played as two thirty second notes then two sixteenth notes which simulates a feel of 4:3. So it resolves after three beats but is being played in 4/4.

  • alright thanks

  • Holy crap dude

    good job

  • good foot job jajaja!!!! XD

  • Congratulations, sir. You win. I must now bust my ass to achive this FUCKING PATTERN!

  • brilliant, keep it up!

  • good job i thought that was really good

  • good work, but it's not a feet view, it's a carpet view

  • feet of the ants on carpet.
