This will be my last post... She said that African American women are too into Asian culture and she has her own culture. If she learned the values of other cultures, she would not have offended as many people as she did. It's called respect and cultural sensitivity which is practiced in many Asian groups among many others. Learning about other cultures can help you implement more positive values into your own lifestyle. She may want to try it.
If you are black, they try to determine "what type of black" you are to decide whether or not you are acceptable. Yes, many black women will not date outside of their race because many are not in areas where they get the opportunity to effective communicate with members of other groups. Also, separation is taught at an early age. My brother is young, but wise and he says "People are just afraid to break the mold and they need to stop being scared."
Different groups of men take different approached when it comes to the race of women they are approaching. I know this to be true. The Asian men who I have been approached by have been Pinoy men with accents signifying they are not from the United States. They take the friendship approach with me before asking me out. It may be them just feeling me out because they don't know what to expect. I do notice a difference in how I am approached in comparison to my white girlfriends. It's the image.
6.) Interracial relationships should not be sought, but allowed to naturally develop. Growing up in Utah, I have dated more men outside of my group. People date based on their environment and who they encounter the most. Yes, you have both black men and women who say they are dating outside of their group because their men or women are no good; however, desperation has to be tied to black women because we are supposed to be undesirable.

Your environment will help determine your speech patterns.
5.) Just because you do not speak with proper dialect or grammar doesn't mean you are ineligible or uneducated. Neither sets of my grandparents spoke proper Americanized English because of the environment they grew up in. My father also has a strong southern accent with the small town grammar to match. Good people speak differently. Grammar that you have adopted doesn't speak for your heart. My father is a good man and educated, but it's hard to lose the speech.
4.)When she talks about single parent households, she is talking about both genders. Also, just because someone comes from a single parent household doesn't mean they are not productive and understand how family life should be. It doesn't mean you are damaged; however, have a single parent who doesn't spend the time they should with their children to teach them proper values can lead to a lack of understanding. You have a lot of single parent households in other races. This is the U.S.
3.) When it comes to influence, many groups will lean toward who they feel is the strongest force in their community whether the force is good or bad. Good forces are educated individuals and business owners, etc. Bad forces are gangs which you can see growing in the African community. Yes, many black women will not date outside of their race because many are not in areas where they get the opportunity to effective communicate with members of other groups. Different groups of men take different approached when it comes to the race of women they are approaching. I know this to be true. The Asian men who I have been approached by have been Pinoy men with accents signifying they are not from the United States. They take the friendship approach with me before asking me out. It may be them just feeling me out because they don't know what to expect. I do notice a difference in how I am approached in comparison to my white girlfriends. It's the image.

Neither sets of my grandparents spoke proper Americanized English because of the environment they grew up in. My father also has a strong southern accent with the small town grammar to match.
