And i bet if they had messed up how they portray what you are on TV u would feel the same. I could tell u that the thing she was saying about sunset and not being alone with a man is made up. yes there are restrictions on a man and a woman being alone together- but that is to avoid any suspicion of an improper relationship (which if you have not noticed, would avoid alot of issues these days). If i was there i would not have fallen from the skil lift, only hit larry for eating the undies.

@tml4873 I am a completely secular Jew, an atheist really, but I feel I have to defend orthodox people; I assume that in a real situation like the one in the scene, the girl wouldn't jump. She would feel uncomfortable, but wouldn't jump.

She does jump in the scene for comic effect, and maybe (I'm speculating) because LD abhors religion to the point that he wants to redicule it constantly. I don't like religion either, but orthodox people in the modern world are usually not completely nuts.

I'm from Florida and see the Orthodox walking to temple on Sabbath in the summer. Not only are they nuts, they're not too bright. Orthodox are the rednecks/ghetto trash of the Jews. I don't see any similarities with atheistic/Reform Jews who are far more intelligent than most people in general.
