Unfortunately to all the people hoping that she releases it. She won't. The song was sold to Javier Colon as "1000 Lights." However his version is really good. And Leona did record a song called "Naked" which is pretty similar, so between those two hopefully we can satisfy our longing. Although I of course would have loved if she had released it.

The way she sings the verses, the melody, sounds too much like 'Naked' from 'Echo', so I guess that's one reason they left it off the final tracklisting. I would've preferred this being on the album to 'Naked', though! I just can't get enough of Leona's voice.

I love Leona, her talent lifts me up. However her "pop" stuff is an under use, unpersuasive, commercial proposition completely lacking in any integrity. Sure, it's easy listening and sometimes fresh, but it doesn't do her justice. She needs challenging material fusing rock, soul and folk music. I ache for another cover like "Run".
