seriously, AA is a band that makes my heart beat faster every time I hear those beautiful jazz chords and melodic compositions. Makes me think of this girl I like, and just wanting to chill with her, with a glass of wine, listening to AA, loving. I just love this band, I'm 23. My generation has some good music to look upon, but when the new generation is my age, I don't what music they will be listening too, definitely stuff like this isn't popular anymore, it's up to us to keep it alive.

Lovely theme, but cold musical rendition, loose groove and technique, no particular performance involved from any of the musician; I would add that instrumental music without any of those aspects is not worth attending in concert, nor even for a non-musician audience. I like the arrangement on some of their album though. For people that loves Metheny this song is really not of any particular interest. There is no accounting for taste indeed, this is just my opinion.

@theryan2112 I'm a Pat Metheny fan myself and he's a phenominal guitarist, but Acoustic Alchemy is quite different from Metheny. In this song I LOVE the melody and the interplay of the 7/4 and 4/4 rhythms. The groove is meant to be loose, and having memorized this song on the album, I can say that they are simply playing in the moment. There are tiny little mistakes, but that's part of what makes it interesting. Great musicians, playing great music with the variations that come from being live.

first timei saw them i was 16 in san antonio texas .. the tickets were dirt cheap for such an awsome concert .. now 5 years later they still rock my world .. saw them in austin worth a lot more but the price is so freakin worth it !!!!! and i got to meet them such awesome people !
