i dont understand mr. freeze along with icicle sr and captain cold are all using the same freeze wrist gun tech that they made from the parts in the prison shop so how the hell could freeze possibly overwhelm icicle jr? his freezing capabilities are limited by the power level of his wrist freeze gun while jr can summon his cryokinetic abilitis at will. freeze and his tech have limits to their capabilities while icicle jr. and killer frost are actual metahumans and cryokinetics.

Also, one of the creators mentioned that teens rush into things like relationships quite often, so it's not unrealistic.
