Personally I like how the characters shifted into different people. If the characters don't change over time then it feels less real. Because everyone grows up over time and changes.

Like for example JD used to be just a goof or a girl according to Dr. Cox but then by the last season he began to take his relationship with Elliot seriously and became a good father. While still being a girl at times lol

Yes, JD changed really great over time, Dr. Cox got his own family and went softer, realistic, but they made kinda dumb changes over the time.

exaaaactly!! Scrubs shifted from a serious Dramedy series with realistic, deep characters to a hilarious farse with stereotypical characters and an excess of gags over plot issues.

Still, I fuckin love Scrubs, from season 1 til today.

But, yes, Season 1 was THE best :)

And you have to give them credit for that. It's hard for people to still love a show so much after a huge change from the first few seasons. No matter the changes in Scrubs, I still love all of it. Season 1 was just a lot more realistic and made you less aware you were watching a sitcom. I love when dramedys can do that - you REALLY escape from reality instead of just getting laughs.
