  • damn!!! i think im in love haha

    thumbs up if u agree!!!

  • maintenance isnt as bad as most think, i have one on my mustang and a cover over the filter. ive also had no issues with oil leaking or low pressure in mine. god i love how these sound though lol

  • Noticed you dont retain your AC which i would rather keep, i want to keep the car as driveable and comfortable as possible

  • Thanks ill look into it.

  • How much was the full kit? And still stock bottom end?

  • @71Tburke If you're interested in this kit, don't get it. All I've heard about these kits is bad. Oil leaks was the main problem. Not to mention maintenance is going to be a bit more troublesome since the heart of the kit is underneath the car in the rear. I suggest a ky turbo kit.

  • @need2speed94 I've heard really no complaints from people who actually OWN the kit, but i've read tons of complaints based off speculation. getting up underneath your car should be no problem as it usually sits higher.

  • @Texarmageddon I still would rather stay with a conventional front mount turbo setup. Much easier to work on. And though they (STS) say they have compensated for the added turbo lag from the extra distance the exhaust must travel, I guarantee it won't spool as fast a front mount. I do believe they have improved it, but common sense should tell you everything you need to know. If rear mount kits were better, they'd be more common.

  • @need2speed94 THe rear mount turbo allows a lot of flexibility the front mount doesn't have. I can pretty much get halfway underneath my stang without it being lifted and well most parts will be in hands reach. Now if you're talking about the piping and checking for deformations then i can understand a little harder to work on. Now I've seen a few sts lt1 vids and they all saw full boost at 3k rpms... can't say that will carry across all platforms though.

  • @Texarmageddon yea that is what I am referring to... it seems like it'd be a pain to find leaks with all that piping underneath the car ya know? Sounds like a nightmare just thinking about it. Hmm, maybe they compensated for it better than I expected. Was that their twin or single kit that achieved full boost that early? Journal or ball bearing turbo(s)?

  • badass bro

  • Nice Camaro, damn that sounds good! check out my third gen if you want, subscribe if you like!

  • Lol it revved like a kazoo! Awesome launch though.

  • Holy shit that made me go when your boost kicked in first, perfect fuel enrichment

  • Sounds like a super charger

  • sounds like a turbo and supercharger all in one... i shall call it, THE SUPER-TURBOCHARGER

  • @modeindustries actually all turbochargers are considered superchargers. the full name for a turbocharger is actually turbo supercharger

  • @sklyrovka actually youre a dumb ass the full name aof a Turbo is Turbocharger all one word..........youre trying to sound smarter than you really are. Just an FYI supers run off a belt and is a parisite, Turbos run off gas but lag end of story

  • @DSMeclipsegst The term turbocharger is a modern one, derived by shortening the turbosupercharger, which was widely used during the World War II era and earlier. This term refers to the fact that turbochargers are a specific type of supercharger, one that is driven by a turbine. Idiot.

  • @sklyrovka Wrong you fucking idiot Turbos have always been called TURBOCHARGERS!!! Youre just to fucking stupid to know it, and yea i own a DSM that will smoke all youre shit and i also own a 98 Camaro SS with a STS kit on it to you fucking idiot so go back to driving your moms honda and drive it off a bridge you fuking dumbass bitch.

  • @DSMeclipsegst Go ahead, look it up. I'll be waiting to see you delete your posts when you realize how wrong you are. Also, I don't drive a Honda, or either of the cars you mentioned because I have money.

  • @sklyrovka LMFAO you have money driving a pile of shit Miata dude your so fucking gay its not funny

  • @DSMeclipsegst Yeah, that's my car that actually sees track time, not my daily. The funny part is that that M2-1002 is worth more than both of your cars combined.

  • @sklyrovka LMFAO youre a pussy ass fag is why its not your daily bpth my cars sees track time, both my cars are driven daily depending on what mood im in, both of my cars are faster than youre pile of shit Miata

  • @DSMeclipsegst I guarantee neither of your cars have seen anything other than a drag strip because they're absolutely terrible to drive in anything other than a straight line. Are you going to admit that you were wrong yet?

  • @sklyrovka LMFAO your a fucking idiot, my cars have been to a Drag strip, Auto X, Road Course, and Circle track youre just a fucking idiot that tries to wikipedia everything and think youre smart haha you know wikipedia is wrong 99% of the tie dont you thats why youre a even bigger idiot that i first thought

  • @DSMeclipsegst ... What are talking dude?

  • @DSMeclipsegst Typical DSM owner.

  • this sounds so tight!! how much did your sts kit cost?

  • @MBCamaro95 new, the basic kit with an intercooler starts around 5K or so. but you can find hardly used kits with larger turbos for around 3.5K

  • I am getting close to finishing my LS2 4th gen Fbody build...your car sounds awesome!

  • How much was your setup im gonna turbo my lt1

  • Love em or hate em, those STSs sound AWESOME

  • Do you still have the stock bottom end? How much boost are you pushing? And about how much rwhp?

  • very easy
