I said this elsewhere, and I'll repeat, here: Presenting "Being gay" as the issue really isn't clear. If you are talking about attraction and desires, then no--it's not a choice. But that's not the problem, and never has been--anymore than my desire to look at another man's wife has been the root problem. It's what I DID with that desire that was a choice. And it would be an insult to humanity to say that we MUST give action to all our desires.

Because homosexuals feel God rejects them spiritually, and nature rejects them naturally, they have no validation. So, they need people to validate them at all times, with no rejection at all. Its not a choice. Why would i want to become homosexual knowing i would be persecuted for being so? Im not stupid, the first time i was attracted to a man was in elementry school. Probably 3rd grade or even before that. I realized i was gay when i hit middle school and i denied it all the way through high school because of my religion and finally over this summer i accepted it. I stopped worrying about small things, my acne improved and matured more. Im more comfortable with myself.

I'm glad a this point in my life that I don't find the need to fight against people who disagree or are even hateful towards what I believe or my lifestyle. If someone is out there, say, holding anti-gay signs on the street, it's obviously their own unhealthy inability to express their feelings that is the true the problem- not me being gay. Its not a choice. Why would i want to become homosexual knowing i would be persecuted for being so? Im not stupid, the first time i was attracted to a man was in elementry school. Probably 3rd grade or even before that. I realized i was gay when i hit middle school and i denied it all the way through high school because of my religion and finally over this summer i accepted it. I stopped worrying about small things, my acne improved and matured more. Im more comfortable with myself.
