I seen em back in 95/96 when they first came out. In Vacaville CA. Grad high school back in 98 so these guys were a huge part of my teenage yrs lol. I remember also seeing him back with fanmail later on. Plankeye and Value Pac were two of my favs back then. Makes me chuckle and get a goofy smile now that im close to 30. Good times.
95 or 96, This cd was one of my top 5's in the summer of 96. Great album. The one they put out before this one is also very good. Just a slight notch below this one. But in the previous album they have some sick guitar rifts if your in to that. There later albums suck mostly because they got a new lead. Hope that helps Bro.
Thanks for posting. Man this brings back memories of my youth with my brother and I were jamming to bands like Plankeye, Starflyer, Mortal, Focus, MXPX and POD (before they were big). Keep rocking and God bless!
I've did lighting for them twice and seen them four times. We brought them to NPR back when Tooth & Nail was a new label with Starflyer 59 and another band that I can't think of right now, that's lead singer was Rob Walker. Then we brought them in when Commonwealth came out. Post Scott was Luis & Aaron. Scott also discovered The Supertones.
great band, one of my all t ime favs, was a huge fan, was lucky enough to see them at a small venue in houston, then with the newsboys and got to meet them backstage, all were very nice...
was a shame when they broke up, i loved this band
For sure SPARK drives down to the root of my adolescent. I never knew what Plankeye looked like until youtube. They are still one of my fav bands. I will always remember freedom that way.
First heard "Revolution" from, at the time, the yet-to-be-released debut album from these guys back in late 1993. I first saw them play in Feb. of 1994 at a church in Garden Grove, CA. I went on to see them 10 more times in concert, including their last concert with drummer Adam at Suburbia 2 in 1998. Great music, great memorys, great times.
Only one thing to say here-ahead of their time! One of the best bands not to be popular. So many of todays successful bands sounds like this-now. When Scott left the band, one of the guitar players did the vocals and it was not the same. Killer, KIller, Killer
plankeye, my favorite band of all time. Frontman Scott went and started a group called FANMAIL, I talked with these guys a month before they broke up. I will never forget them. Great band, great guys
Eric who sings on Goodbye is one of the guitar players not singing. The lead singer Scott here left after the album One and Only One. Rocking material!

the guy singing in this song doesnt look like the same guy singing in goodbye..where is he in the video?
Princesstovall 4 years ago
He's not the same guy. Scott Siletta was the previous lead singer. Look closely and the singer in "Goodbye" will look just like the lead guitarist :)
