First of all these snowy images in Japan are impressive & beautiful."From the northern inn"Sorrowful ENKA tune & lyrics"I really know what ENKA is,but I always wondering why Japanese people like sad love songs.Changing the subject our loving Teresa's Japanese rendition of this song totally soak into my heart.Teresa Teng has a magical charm which influence to our feeling in many ways. It's really amazing, isn't it?Thank you so much for the share.
I quite agree with you that most of ENKA songs that Teresa sings are sad. This is not because Japanese people like sad songs, but because the lyricists incidentally selected such sad love stories for her. As you already know well, ENKA is Japanese ballad covering a broad range including both joy and sorrow.
Thanks Masami for your kind reply.Surely I could understand what you're meaning.Yes,Joy and sorrow are the main feature of our human lives. It's almost like our each fates.Well now I wish you a happy week ahead.
Masami San.......Age mashite Omedeto Gozaimatsu. Thanks for another beautiful clip of Teresa. This morning I listen to this right after back from dropping my kids to school. It really makes my day. Love it.
Truly touching enka and beautiful winterly video. Excellent job! Many thanks for sharing this, Masami-san. Somehow this video and the song lyrics reminds me of the stories written by Kawabata Yasunari (my favorite writer). I mean this scene: someone is sitting alone at the northern inn, his/her heart is empty, and it's snowing outside... Aa, such a bittersweet athmosphere! Higoto samusa ga tsunorimasu... hai! Bideo arigatou gozaimasu! ~Teisuka
@masami43 Thank you for your reply, Masami-san. Silver coat above the roofs...? It might look beautiful, I guess. It's late to be a first snow. We have loads of snow here in Finland already, and weather is quite cold as well: minus 12 Celsius degrees in my region. :) Teisuka
All of the song ,singer, composer & masami translator were great.
Thanks.

There was a first light snowfall last night in my region, and some roofs are still clad in silver coat.
