  • @Survivalistwannabe hav tried avoiding them an insulin b4 but in scotland it is much better for getting organic ugar free foods as for insulin i had a very serios reaction by not taking insulin for sum reason but thank you for your concern it helped a little anyway

  • Yeah, Harbor Freight is where I got my knife as well. Same knife. I tried to cut it down to a smaller size for my friend in order to fit his small sheath (want to talk about some TOUGH steel.) Anyway, thanks for the dandelion video. It really is a fantastic plant. I thought that you would be interested in watching another great person named 'Green Deane' with 'Eat The Weeds'. He has a tremendous amount of botanical information that you would love. Thanks again for all that you do. God bless!

  • good videos u hav obviposly worked very hard to know al off this i was wondering if you would know of any treatments for iregular blood sugar levls as i suffer from diabetes type one and would like to regulate mine and also if there was any plant that may get rid of the lumps of fat that have built up in my legs due to insulin please respond if you have the time thank you

  • @MrOkasaki Cinnamon is very good for regulating blood sugar. Acorn are too but Cinnamon is more practical

  • @MrOkasaki Just stop eating processed foods....nearly every one of them has high fructose corn syrup which is far worse than sugar and did I mention it's in everything? Just watch what you eat and avoid insulin and sugar problems all together. I heard of Bitter Melon being a good way to lower blood sugar. But I don't know for sure because I watch what I eat!!!! Read the ingredients, if you don't know what it is, don't eat it.

  • Great video, but you forgot to mention making a wine out of dandelions. My dad makes some every few years, and normally I can't stand wine as I'm a whiskey drinker. However the dandelion wine my dad makes is very good.

  • Mmmm my second favorite flower to eat, I'd have to to say my favorite would be day lillies. I could eat those all day.haha

  • What kind of camera do you use?

  • what resource did u find all that info on dandelions? and the milk thistle ? good job on the videos.

  • Hi - your knife (machete?) is very cool. Where did you get it?

  • @adamatova thank you. Don't remember. Harbor Freight maybe?

  • This is very interesting! I want to ask a question. You see, my twin brother had leukemia. It is a disease that makes the blood kill each other. He blood was purple due to this disease. He is now a survivor of leukemia because of my blood. Well, anyways, he has liver problems due to radiation. As you said it steadily removes toxins in the body. Will dandelions help get rid of the radiation?

  • @tomasayon it would help build the immune system but for liver damage he would benefit much more from milk thistle.

  • @MayeuxMinistries Milk thistle? Where can I find that? In a store? Well thanks a lot for replying!

  • @tomasayon you can get supplements in any pharmacy, health food, or supplement store. Even walmart carries it now in the vitamin sections.

  • @MayeuxMinistries Really? Then I can easily walk over there! There's a CVS Pharmacy near my house(between a busy street) I can easily go in my spare time. So it's milk thistle right? Okay well thank you very much for the information!

  • good video

  • Never Knew That, Always Handy To Know As I Do Alot Of Bushcraft Camping And I Enjoy Collecting Wild Edibles To Eat, Thanks For The Info, Love Your Videos, Keep It UP

  • Awesome vids girl!!!

  • And I though that dandelions were bad! Very good video!

  • Best video on dandelions I have seen. Awesome job. I subbed

  • hi i wanted to open my mouth not just to get more consumption hee, but at point of it being sweeter in taller grasses it makes me think how some regular plants oft have results better w/ another growth contingency; & it's said by john kohler among good introductions that this was used as a lettuce until rejected as simply a weed's worthlessness. dh has that hunger increase w/ other greens so similar effect relates like use. plus the (air) dried application for digestion is my testimony. carolyn

  • I eat them mainly for Vitamin A and Lutein etc for my eyes. They're not that bad to eat and they're very good for you. Thanks for the video.

  • your dog is awesome

  • Great video. It's ironic that people, especially those of us who live in town, treat dandelion as a weed when it's probably the most valuable plant on our lots.

  • I love to watch your videos. Dandelion is one of my favorite herbs because it is the closest to being a one in all healing herb. It is a mild laxative, a hepatic, cleanses the kidneys, and cleanses the blood stream. What do you do when you are not making the videos? How are you related to your side kick...the other younger girl?

  • I like your dog. He's a team player

  • Hey, I love survival skills. I was curious on how did you learn all of this stuff? I mean what kind of class would I take?

    Thanks,

    Allenh60

  • @allenh60 I don't know classes. Just watch my vids and search the net for stuff. The Fox fire series is really good too.

  • Gal, you've got more knowledge about this plant. I've eaten this plant two times now and i could feel the blood flowing on my head and am more alert ! Something i've never experienced before. I can say its agood plant and i'll be eating it. Thanks for the good info!!

  • Good video. Makes a good salad I have drank dandillion wine and it is really good.
