He was the overseer, and desinger as well for all of the most popular attactionsup to the haunted mansion The original not only looks better than WDW, but the layout is more pleasing, more complete, and theres even the Matterhorn. WDW is just a copy of the original thing.

@xTuMenolx3 WDW is just a replica of the original thing, I prefer Walt disneys piece of artwoek, over an imitation, a numbered print. All of the disneyslands around the planet are based off of the original. So in reality you like Disneyland just as much as WDW, plus you cant beat that materhorn!

@BTLemming Disneyland is more of a treat, a bit more enclosed from the world, highly detailed over WDW, the matterhorn is a must, and Liberty square from WDW has nothing on New Orleans Square!!
my family loves Disney! both of my brother and my older sister have worked at Disneyland and Disney World(my brother just worked at Disney World) and my sister at Disneyland. :) and best thing is our family get's free tickets to the park! :)
@regularjosh1 Disneyland isnt that much smaller, WDW doesn't even use a lot of the extra land they have. Its just bodies of water taking up space. Disneyland is Walt Disneys true theme park!

@WumWip What part of of Arizona did you move to? Im from Tucson, and I think ive built up a tolerance to this heat. California is such a nice place to be in, but damn is it costly. It is worth going!! They have a lot more things to see, ride, eat, etc..

I was at WDW last in '89 and had to go to the first aid station. The nurse there told me that she loved being there.
@themikester06 LOL, the Jungle Cruise skippers have always shot at the hippos, until for a brief period in the late 90s/early 2000s. I believe in 2005 they brought back the shooting. :)

Oh my goodness! I love this movie! I used to watch all the time as a kid, but the first time I went tto Disneyland my parents couldn't understand why I was afraid of the Matterhorn it was because this video showed the monster in it haha
I used to have this VHS and I loved it so much as a kid :) Most of my life (untill I was a teenager), I was a fan addict of Disneyland. Everyday, I would spend at least a 1/4 of a day talking to others about DIsneyland!
I just turned 18 a few months ago, and even though I dont talk so much about Disneyland, I still love it. No matter what happens, as soon as I enter the ticket booth to Disneyland, I always feel 7 again :)

@commentmutant Well, Disneyland has the older looking rides, and everything. But All the hotels, and the monorail, not to mention to everything surrounding the park seems to have futurized. Look up old Disneyland films. It has changed a lot
@MERC3NARYPRODUCTIONS well if its the resorts accommodations then thats different, but the park has kept its retroactive look, especially with tomorrow land. some has changed, but this park is the one and only original disneyland. You can go and find the remnants of the rides that used to exist. such as the tunnels, or train/rail tracks
@commentmutant The park has the older more classic look. The only real change over the years is the clothing and attitude of families. My recent visits to Disney Parks, I have seen families with attitude. I really wish they were like they were in the 90's. Oh well, I hope to go to Disneyland one day.

Right here i will not exaggerate, but every land has a lot more put into it than at magic kingdom. the fantasy land in disneyland is beautiful compared to the magic kingdoms medieval tents. Tomorrow land still has its 50s, 60s look of the idea of the spage age. Magic kingdom is a very nice park, but you would LOVE, i mean LOVe disneyland.
@MERC3NARYPRODUCTIONS The upgrades surrounding the parks are a huge improvement, believe me. I grew up fifteen minutes from Disneyland and the area was becoming a slum by the 80's.
@commentmutant Yeah, it was pretty much all seedy motels, bars and grease-pit fast food stands until Disney bought up the property in the late 80's. Now, the whole area looks like Disneyland.

A lot of the audio sounds like alternate takes. I have several audio CDs, including the 50th anniversary set, and it sounds different relative to them.

Disneyland is so different! I was born in 1999, so i go to Disneyland nowadays. Nice to see Disney in the 1997's!

Oh my gosh! I can't believe this video is on youtube now! I'm so happy I could cry. I bought this video when I took my first trip to Disneyland (for my 6th birthday). The video has been lost for several years. I'm so happy to be able to re-live my childhood memories again! Thanks to whoever uploaded this!!!!

Oh my goodness! I love this movie! I used to watch all the time as a kid, but the first time I went tto Disneyland my parents couldn't understand why I was afraid of the Matterhorn it was because this video showed the monster in it haha

I used to have this VHS and I loved it so much as a kid :) Most of my life (untill I was a teenager), I was a fan addict of Disneyland. Everyday, I would spend at least a 1/4 of a day talking to others about DIsneyland!
I just turned 18 a few months ago, and even though I dont talk so much about Disneyland, I still love it. No matter what happens, as soon as I enter the ticket booth to Disneyland, I always feel 7 again :)

let me tell u someday iam 27 n every single bday is @ disneyland n if the good lord allows me b 90 iam having my bday @ disney. all i do is think and talk about disneyland. i dont know what it that make me love it so much but i do iam carzy about it. so dont be ashame. cuz iam not. iam hoping that 1 day i get married @ disneyland.

it's hard to believe that parking lot was in front of Disneyland....I remember how my father would ALWAYS get lost and couldn't remember where we parked!!...ah memories that will last a lifetime..

Disneyland has changed a lot to the modern look found at Disney World than what you see twenty years ago.

@commentmutant Well, Disneyland has the older looking rides, and everything. But All the hotels, and the monorail, not to mention to everything surrounding the park seems to have futurized. Look up old Disneyland films. It has changed a lot

@MERC3NARYPRODUCTIONS well if its the resorts accommodations then thats different, but the park has kept its retroactive look, especially with tomorrow land. some has changed, but this park is the one and only original disneyland. You can go and find the remnants of the rides that used to exist. such as the tunnels, or train/rail tracks

@commentmutant The park has the older more classic look. The only real change over the years is the clothing and attitude of families. My recent visits to Disney Parks, I have seen families with attitude. I really wish they were like they were in the 90's. Oh well, I hope to go to Disneyland one day.

@MERC3NARYPRODUCTIONS You havent even been to the ORIGINAL Disneyland? Right here i will not exaggerate, but every land has a lot more put into it than at magic kingdom. the fantasy land in disneyland is beautiful compared to the magic kingdoms medieval tents. Tomorrow land still has its 50s, 60s look of the idea of the spage age. Magic kingdom is a very nice park, but you would LOVE, i mean LOVe disneyland.

@MERC3NARYPRODUCTIONS The upgrades surrounding the parks are a huge improvement, believe me. I grew up fifteen minutes from Disneyland and the area was becoming a slum by the 80's.

@commentmutant Yeah, it was pretty much all seedy motels, bars and grease-pit fast food stands until Disney bought up the property in the late 80's. Now, the whole area looks like Disneyland.
