@suenelson1024 Edith loves Archie and Archie loves Edith. Watching these two sometimes made me forget it was only an old show. Archie can be a discriminating ass hole, and Edith can be a dingbat... but together they are perfect. They've been together for 24 years (as far as this episode goes) and they never once came on the verge of break up. Gloria and Mike seem to have a perfect open relationship, yet they split up near the end of the show.
Archie: "Well, it's nice to know she had a little fun while she was staying w/ us here, & it's also nice having a cute looking relation around the house for a change, not like them lulus on your side of the family."
7:34-7:41 was improvised by O'Connor. It looks natural but it was not original to the script. That's how well he played the character. Rob Reiner goes along with it well, too.

@suenelson1024 Edith loves Archie and Archie loves Edith. Watching these two sometimes made me forget it was only an old show. Archie can be a discriminating ass hole, and Edith can be a dingbat... but together they are perfect. They've been together for 24 years (as far as this episode goes) and they never once came on the verge of break up. Gloria and Mike seem to have a perfect open relationship, yet they split up near the end of the show.

7:34-7:41 was improvised by O'Connor. It looks natural but it was not original to the script. That's how well he played the character. Rob Reiner goes along with it well, too.

Arguably one of the funniest episodes. Definitely in the top 5. Archie, Edith and Mike all were great in this. As were Lionel and Henry.

I loved Archie's meltdowns. Remember another episode where he was trying to watch the ballgame, but the "vertizontal hold" was off and after attempting to suffer through for a few minutes, he screams "THIS STINKS!" LOL
