I freaking love 3D Crystal Lacquer and using UV gives it a hardness like resin.

The effects are very similar with UV or regular 3D Crystal Lacquer. The advantage of UV is quick and harder on surface. There are also many people use regular 3D Crystal Lacquer with same technique. One note regarding to UV is that this is resin similar to EPOXY which some people has the allergy. So, please make sure to wear gloves.

I watched it and like it. HOwever, I do not see what the UV type of lacquer does that the regular couldn't also make it look like...They dry the same, shine the same...
