From the beginning this trailer doesn't make sense. Miranda: "They're sending him to fight Geth! Geth!" Pretty sure everyone here knows that ME3 starts right off with a Reaper assault on Earth, and the Systems Alliance isn't so dumb that they would say "Shepard we need you to go fight Geth while we're getting bombed by these bigger, nastier machines, lol"

Since we still have a loose end regarding the dozen scientists that went into the Citadel, I'm guessing we find a Prothean in ME3 for the deus ex machina that is the only feasible way I see of beating the Reaper fleet. It took the entire Alliance 5th fleet to take down one, and there's a couple thousand coming.

@TheThanatos34 And if The prothean empire was as big as the game makes its sounds Im sure there was a colony that could of survived and if you look at the Beta Leak Gameplay footage Admiral hackett has assembled a HUGE fleet around earth so maybe most of the reapers wont be as stronge as soverien and harbinger.-Btw Remember Soverien had a heretic geth fleet with him at the battle of the citadel-

The fleet that Hackett has around Earth is completely crushed by the initial Reaper assault, as you can see in the trailers where the media is talking about the ships over Europe. I don't see how on earth that we can beat them without a deus ex machina, and the most logical person to deliver it would be a Prothean.
