I could piss and lose .5 of a pound lol. I don't weigh myself very often but I need to see a difference on the scales simply because I've never even been able to lose like 5 lbs and see it on the scale. But I'm more concerned with my size/how my clothes fit. But I need to see a difference on the scales, I couldn't go from like a size 18 to a size 12 and be the same weight

As a complete stranger and voyeur, suggestion that were helpful for me, be brutally honest for one week about what going into your body, write everything down. Then throw away the scales FOREVER, then cut out sugar/crisps/ unnecessary fats. Its worked for me. All the best. From a nosey tuber. PS it sounds terrible yet leaves the stuff I use to leave in the fridge.

During my weight loss, my therapist and I decided jointly that I should not own a scale and should only be weighed at the doctor's office. I wanted to be sure I defined "success" by doing the right things, not by my weight, which I *hope* to influence, but which in fact I do not directly control.

I'm now down 130+ pounds and at goal, so I'd say it worked out well for me.
