  • I've gotten 2 hrs+ use of the batteries (eneloop rechargeables) when filming/playing back HD

  • did you have the IS turned on or does the IS not operate w/ the video settings?

  • I was filming in automatic mode. I'm not sure if the IS operates or not in video mode.

  • I haven't done a full video test, without taking any stills, to deplete the battery. I bought some Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries, which are rated very high on Amazon. They are excellent. The Eneloops lasted 120+ stills, plus 40 minutes of 720p video. That included playing the video back on my TV/projector using the camera and transferring all files to my laptop. I was very pleased with their performance.
