  • all this just so we can take pictures...

  • Very interesting even tho I couldnt under stand a single word.

  • i prefer watching it in japanese than english

  • Ich versteh kein Wort aber sieht gut aus

  • haha da hast du echt recht!

  • it allows the glass to form differently

  • subtitles please

  • hm.. that's why it's expensive, shitrack of coke in it ^^(the beginning of the movie). haha!

  • It's sand silly :)

  • Oh, my bad! ;)

  • Actually I was wrong, it's some mixture, I watched the American version of this program and they did not say it was only sand. So, it's my mistake.

  • @polarbear60

    its glass silly

  • @JoelCuongVanDahl

    3:35 look at all those ecstasy tablets.

  • If i were a japanese, I would have worked for canon, this is soooooooo coooooooooll mannnn

  • Now I know why optics are so expensive

  • Uhm, Japanese?

  • Guess where Canon is from.

  • you're such an illiterate, that you don't even know that there is such thing as klingon language, what kind of loser parents did you have? did they plant you in front of a tv with a bottle of coca cola nd a hamburger in the other watching american crap?

  • uhm ... Gene Roddenberry was American, the guy that invented the Klingon language is American... and Star Trek hasn't exactly won a lot of awards... not sure if by American crap you mean Jerry Springer and Ricky Lake... or what, but there are people that consider Star Trek for American crap...

  • oh y'all stop bickering! it's japanese and the characters are kanji

  • It's Japanese, jackass.

  • Please add annotations with the translation

  • Look at all of that Cocaine used to make canon lenses

  • I know it's amazing! I had no idea!

  • thats why they cost so much

  • So if anyone says that hasselblad is using japanese technology, they are only to the extent of what hasselblad designs.

    I can't believe anyone thought Hasselblad was German. Next Farrari is made in Ukraine lol

  • Actually I think all of you have got it wrong. Hasselblad is a Swedish company, their lenses from different eras of time come from everywhere. Hasselblad designed the camera, lenses, and everything on the system, and asked fujinon to form a partnership where they will make the lenses that hasselblad designed themselves. Just as your cars and houses have parts from all around the world, cameras do too.

  • who gives a shit man! Canon L serie on a Canon 5D works BEST!

  • he said pipi

  • hahahahahaha

  • Japanese makes the most popular lense,the most expensive lenses,the best lenses. uropean lenses are for nostalgics.

  • Engrish, prease!!

  • mmmmmm... sugar cookies... (5:24)

  • lol

  • wow, reading through all these comments I'm surprised at how compedetive lens makers are... german lens makers fighting over japanese lens makers as well as us lens makers claiming there equipment is more advanced. In my opinion, as long as the picture quality is great (for the price) I don't mind weather I use bolex lenses, canon lenses, red lenses, nikon lenses, pentax lenses or beautiful old hand crafted lenses from europe.

  • I agree with you photofake German inveted the technology west countries have; they allway were ahead of the rest of the world and one of the best dslr is german the (hasselblad) at 39 MP but it costs way to much not even in my dreams I can buy it,that camera is not for mortal or simple peoples like me.

  • I understood:

    Kariotete;

    Nariushiday;

    Tecatoshimass;

    Sareru;

    Cogatorarentza;

    Conoianakute;

    Tenkiro;

    Konay.

    My japanese is the best...

  • hahahahaha... you're fool

  • so they do lenses using yeyo... that's what i get from the narrator , yeyoputlensmoryeyoyeyomoreyeyokoyenoseinhale

  • That's some funny shit- thanks for the laugh!

  • Well Japan makes the best digital cameras and dslr, camcorders and lenses on the world.

    Canon, Nikon, Olympus-dslr....Sony,Panasonic,Canon etc.-Camcorders.

  • NO, the FACT of the matter is, the Germans make the best lenses & they always have. The nips have been grinding glass for 70 years- the Europeans have been grinding glass for well over 400 years. The ONLY reason the Japs have gotten as far as they have, is because Germany shared glass formulation with them as allies in WWII. The German made Hasselblad H3D dslr is far, far above & ahead of anything the Japs can even get near ... Thems the FACTS OXOX.

  • Um no.

    Takahashi for example were the first to use fluorite in their lenses (telescopes).

    The Hasselblad H series were based on the Fujifilm GX645 (The H1 is the same camera) and the H2 and H3 are just variants.

    ALL of the H series lenses are made by

    FUJINON lenses.

    The Japanese technology was developed as early as the 1880s but yes, they paid the German lens makes a lot of money to work for them.

  • Lol,,,Hasselblad is made in japan by Fuji you retarded.Hasselblad H3D dslr It is all japanese technology.

  • @photofake stop with the racial slurs.

  • looks like crack

  • can't fucking understand ittt!!!!!!!

  • UNCLEAN MUD-PEOPLE....oh my god dude, you are the proof to the fact that american does not equal civilized....there is not only english people in the world, and most of all: you are obliged to learn another dull language such as english, unless your mother tongue IS english, foreigners that speak english know AT LEAST 2 languages (theirs and english), so, before calling someone mud-people and unclean,think twice and take a shower, cause you might not be so clean or sound so good.

  • Lol.

  • You're so right, eggbert. But the problem is that good parody like yours sounds so realistic that it fools the unsuspecting, literal-minded thinkers to think you were really serious. I found your comments sharp and funny. "Mud people" indeed, ha ha, this is a good way to highlight the fact that THERE ARE really people who think and talk that way in deadly, deadly earnest. Thanks for the laughs. I wish others would polish (not Polish) their humor sensors---like a good lens.

  • Your such a fag

  • It gets funnier ... PLEASE write more. I look forward to the next installment! :O)

  • VERY funny & completely TRUE... CHEERS to a brave man!!!

  • Lol I saw a leak at 1:21

  • Did not understand a damn thing your said. I would rather see it on How it's made.

  • go learn Japanese!

  • RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!

  • 40-41 listen to the guy

  • lol pee pee

  • Japanese language is the best. Their TV shows, the best, their women ... ok, their cars... pretty decent, their technorogy.... superior, this video pwns.

  • weeaboo

  • can someone post link to a english version?

  • search in google the Canon museum :)

    there you will find the english version and more videos

  • Theres an English version in the Canon Camera Museum, go to the Virtual Lens Plant.

  • all i want to know is how can the everyday DIY hacker can do this, I read copernicus use to make his own lenses in the 16th century, if he did it back then we can surely do it now without gobs of money

  • I know that DIY telescope makers can Grind their own mirrors, so it shouldn't be too hard to get literature and equipment and adapt it for lens making.

    And there should be videos here too on DIY mirror making as well.

  • yeah, but Copernicus used mirror based telescopes, not lenses. There are many books about making telescopes with mirrors (polish of the mirrors included). Many of them are from the ´50s and ´60... you can find them very cheap in second hand book stores.

  • one day lets hope theres english subtitles

  • One day lets hope you learn another language.

  • one day lets hope you get out of your filthy shell. I already know 3 languages read and write, and 2 more spoken.

  • me too... ;-)

  • Ya, I know 5 langs already (Portuguese is my mother, English and French are my best foreign lang) and I'm learning Russian now (Spasibo, Youtube!). Japanese is soooo haaaard (and Chinese, even the simplified version)... ._.

    If these 3 videos had at least Spanish or Italian subtitles, I could understand them a bit. So far I recognized the word "automation" here in the 1st. LoL

  • One day lets hope YOU pull YOUR boyfriends dick out of YOUR mouth & stop mumbling!
