He's cute. You rarely get to see a nice stocky clyde these days!! Most of them now are all tall and lanky and jusut look like warmbloods with feather. and he does nicely over the jumps...ive been trying to get must husky belgian to jump...he's great at going through them...just not over them. :) Cute Video, nice horse!
haha, yeah, he's a good boy, he had lots of fun. That's the only time I really rode him, except a few weeks ago when we went for a gallop on the trails. This week is my last week at that barn, so I don't really have any time to work with him.
Yeah, he went to driving school with the amish to learn how to be road safe and such, but he goes under saddle fairly nicely as well. he's a great horse.
I work at a historic farm, so we have a team of Belgians who were originally owned by Amish too. The only time I ever rode a draft was the old mare who wasn't sound for pulling the plough, so we taught her how to walk and trot under saddle so she could go be a pet to a boy with MS.
Aw, that's sweet. Tommy was in the fourth of July parade, and freaked out a little. He's away at bombproofing camp while the owners are away on vacation. Hopefully I'll get to ride him again sometime.

He looked like that when we got him. A lot of the time they dock the cart horse's tails. He's not the first clyde I've seen with a docked tail.

I'm pretty sure he's only 16.2-16.3, but he's very heavily built.
This is pretty much the only time he's ever jumped. I'm sure with some work he could do a 2'3" course though.
