PS im dissapointed as the cool videos i see online for this i realized that most people put in theyre own samples , thats why they sound so good ! itunes needs an update to the sounds for sure! Thanks !
Can you tell me how to load samples or new sounds to my ipod version of this ? I dont have a computer with an sd card slot . i was able to connect via itunes but only to download others songs, no new sounds! great app but not great sounds ! Weak Drums and bass ! Thanks for your help .
@redbirdsaraceno you can't ( YET? ) load your own sounds. The hardware Tenori DOES allow it. It seems they will likely add that in future versions? Because otherwise, nearly all features are the same.
The included sounds are something different from most apps... enjoy the difference.
You can also use it to MIDI control other things. ( See my other videos )
Yes, we'd all like to be able to reset ALL the sounds, that choice is up to Yamaha.
@vjfranzk I only have limited cash for apps and with this month being a big music month I might have to wait a bit to buy TNR so I am just trying to get info on it now. Plus the longer I wait the more I want to get aurora and I would like you to maybe mention something in ur video about what you think about the two. Thanks for your help. Later.
@vjfranzk I meant voices like factory preset sounds. The yamaha site calls the stock sounds voices. Not literal like polyphony ;). I just want to know how many drum kits, synth patches, strings ect. I see a big list in all the demos but no exact number of sound sets? Do you have a twitter or faster way to correspond? Checking my email or a single YouTube video for answers is daunting.
@freesoulvw i prefer to answer questions here, because others may have the same questions! ;-) there are 256 patches, some of which are drum kits, 3 of which are your user sample kits ( that feature is not yet implemented on the iPad, but likely to be added.) check out the usa tenori on forums for more info
the hardware and i patches sound the same, so check if you like the sounds you hear on various youtube demos
@vjfranzk can you please tell us how many voices the app has. I have been looking everywhere for info on specs for the app but all the info says that it is an exact copy of the hardware version. I don't have much knowledge on the hardware and although they say it's the same I am sure there are differences. No user samples for example.
Just found it live in the app store today! Want to know more about the features, the apps description just says it is the same as the tenori on but what if I don't know anything about the hardware? Guess I'm off to the net
@freesoulvw I have it now also. Will do Part B tonight! In the mean time, see other videos by people such as King Tet, Jordan Rudess and myself demonstrating the hardware synth - it should give you some ideas. They are basically identical, except the "side buttons" are now buttons below, and the menus operate in a standard iPad way.
