Ok.. I watched MP since episode 1 season 1. Darren Star put together a great cast and a great program with the help of Arron Spelling. I am sure MP 2.0 is going to have to work hard to become what its predecessor has become. With the help of its newest producers Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer ("Smallville") and oscar winner Davis Guggenheim, it may have a chance but like the first, it will need to grow on you.

The original show was full of unknowns cast solely on their looks. And the first season was immensely boring. It wasn't until Amanda (Heather Locklear) was added as a regular in season 2, that things heated up.

Yes Sydney died in season 5 I watched itI remember her getting hit by a car on her wedding day but then again leave it to the new show and new producer to screw up like 90210 they don't know the history of the oriangle characters

I know. I pray to GOD that this isn't just a watered down version! It appears that they've injected a substainal amount of glitz into the show, unlike the original which was more organic. From what I've seen so far the storylines aren't high octane like the original and the new actors cannot act! UGH!!!! Please don't let this show become shit!!!

I find it funny that people are even mentioning bad acting. The original show thrived on cheesey acting. This is is a three minute clip, how can you judge based on three minutes?

The original show had PLENTY of bland moments. I loved it, but it's always going to go down in history as America's favorite guilty pleasute.

It seems as though Syd faked her death, came back, met up with Jake's son a few years ago, got arrested, and now came back to the building and wants forgiveness. She knows David's done bad things.
