  • @hassanziadon Anyone can download it for free from Steam. Under Library go to Tools and install Source SDK. You need Steam to run it so you might as well get it that way.

  • Say umm is it possible to make aprop small or bigger then what they are ?

  • @Greatdictator from Hammer you can not change the size of the props.

  • what if i wanted to make the map highly destructable can you do a tutorial on that or is there 1

  • @COMBINEdotCOM Sorry. At the moment I don't have a tutorial on that. Search for breakable walls.

  • your maps are amazing

  • my props wont spawn in my map. why? D:

  • @Heavyweponsguy2000

some models require you to use an exact type of prop entity. Some can only be physics props while some only be static. Some of them can do both. Without looking at your project all and say is that you should try switching to a different type or prop entity.

  • What computer do you have? it's amazing how smooth your computer runs normal in Hammer with a shit load of stuff while recording...

  • @MrRagingFury My machine isn't too crazy. The video was recorded with CamStudio on a GeForce 8800 GTS at the time.

  • How do you scale props in hammer?

  • @MelonProtectionForce It's difficult to scale them within Hammer. In newer versions of Hammer there's an entity called prop_scalable. Once you've selected the model you want you have to set a value you want to scale it by, and I'm pretty sure you can't even view your changes within Hammer. You have to compile the whole darn map to view the scale change you made! It's a pain. Source and Hammer are archaic in that manor.

  • @badATchaos hey, alright thanks for your help, ive got a map start designed for gmod, dediced to spruce it up with some combine props however the barriers exceed the dimensions of the map =(, bit of a pain but i can live without them lol

    thanks again for your help
