I wouldn't consider XP, Vista, 7 different operating systems. They're just different versions of the same. One is a crappy update, and the other one tried to correct it's predecessors flaws and make some more money for Microsoft (and succeed at doing so).

Operating system for my purposes? I'd have to agree with XP pro, Vista seems to be a little slower and Windows 7 slightly overrated in my opinion.

Yes, absolutely, just one day I decided "You know what not enough people read Wikipedia, I'll just spread this information to the masses." Of course not, I watched a whole bunch of videos on YouTube and basically wrote a text in Notepad summarizing their ideas then read it out while the video was recorded. The problem is the more popular a video is, the more idiots view it and waste the creator's time because they really have nothing better to do than troll.

Your computer can run a 64-bit Windows, but you won't see a huge performance boost in games by switching to 64-bit.

Windows 7 is the best because it will have "XP-Mode" lol.

Only problem is it's not for playing games incompatible with Vista/7 unless their 2D. For me it seems there is absolutely no way to play Deus Ex on Windows 7 64-bit, besides in Vmware and it is extremely glitchy.

While it plays on mine but you run in slow motion and all the dialogue timing is messed up. The core affinity thing dosen't make any difference and I found a website with a DirectX 9 renderer but it didn't make any difference. OpenGl renderer doesen't even fix it. I have the RTM, build 7600.

7 is faster and more efficent than xp .... i play cod 4 and 5 on my laptop. it came with vista, i put xp on it but then i upgraded to 7 because its so much better.

I had Windows 7 Ultimate and it definately dosen't log in as fast as Xp x64 with the same programs. The UI improvements may be important to others but their really superficial in the end to me.

I really enjoy your video and i would read to if i ever did a video.Its better to put your thought on a page than making everything up in the moment, you cover more reading. I will take your advice on using xp, but i wonder what do you think about modded versions like windows colosus 2, they said its really good. The cd had all the progams i needed to start. it was ready to use.

I just got a pc pentium 4 3.2gh processor for $179 canadian, It didnt had the operating system so i look at your video and decided upon it. I have windows shadow, its a modded xp that its so light and fast that they say a Nintendo ness could run it jaja, it has a vista look i just need less than 150 ram i have 1g so, its really stable i havent got any errors its service pack 3, its in spanish thought, i have to change that. i wonder what are you studding?
