Interesting theory, except for two things. Leo's gun and the gun hidden by Thades father were not the same gun. You can visually tell that Leo's gun is highly advanced, and the gun Thades father kept was not. Also, the theory on Leo seeing his pod before entering the storm. His tracker stated that the pod was Alpha Pod. Alpha pod is not the general name of the pods, but it's individual unit. Leo's pod was Delta pod, Alpha pod was the chimps pod he went after.

In the book (at the END) it turns out that apes took over all of the known planets (without that space station crashing, of course), and at the end Nova (who is not in the 2001 version) and Ulysses (known as Taylor and Leo in the adaptations) are trying to find a planet with humans (and send a message in a bottle through space; the message is the frame story).

The new Planet of the Apes was the BEST movie ever and thank god has nothing to do with the other films. Here is my explanation to the end of the 2001 film: General Thade was stuck in the ship by the glass and at some point he went back in time to the 1850s to 1860s and by some magical way he created by mating making more apes that can speak and act like him and through evolution the apes took over.

If the statue was of 'Ceasar' and not general 'Thade', it will be much easier to understand the storyline. just because that's not the case, we have to assume that Thade came fro the future to start it all ( with the help of the 'one eyed ape' - some would say )

Rise is a new franchise starter and reboot of the Planet of the Apes franchise that will tell the same story differently starting from the beginning.
Thade didnt take over by himself, if you watch the rise, a disease will soon kill most of the humans on earth. Thade will land and fight with or against cesar for either domination, or for the power to kill the rest of the humans when cesar would rather live with them.

Maybe the pod Leo saw was Thade's and he really did fix it or if "alt" Leo did do every thing the same as the first Leo so wouldn't that mean they must land in the same exact spot and that is true where's the second pod, maybe Semos killed "alt" Leo, stole his gun, and pull his pod out of the water to keeps as well and thats why there was that died soldier ape in the water, he was under the command of Semos getting the pod out. Fox's official answer on the subject, printed on a postcard included with the DVD of the film, states that Thade fixed the pod and arrived at our Earth BEFORE Leo.

Pericles traveled through the same storm and wormhole from the same place ("original" earth), and after landing, the pod still had the coordinates of the electromagnetic storm from "original" earth? Later, you say that the Oberon crew's remains would've decayed. That is true, so the only logical explanation is that the skull belonged to a slave human who entered Calima, even though it was "forbiden," and was ultimately killed, meaning that it was not the skull of an "alternate" Leo. 8:17 brings up the idea that "alt" earth's wormhole might differ from "original" earth's.
At 6:23, you say that Semos saved "alt" Leo's gun as evidence, but the revolt took place on the Oberon, which was supplied with the same weaponry (as were the pods manned by Pericles and Leo). The gun could've came from any crew member fighting during the original revolt. It was not "alt" Leo's gun. 6:44 - you say that "original" Leo could've encountered "alt" Leo's remains.
At 3:38, "original" Leo witnesses his pod being displaced by the storm before it's shown entering the wormhole BEFORE it actually happens, just like the Oberon. You're right that it wasn't Pericles' pod, because it was "original" Leo's. At 5:50, you say that 2 Leo existed in one universe, which is not true because for the crew that has already crashed the Oberon on "alt" earth, Leo is missing in space, meaning there is only 1 Leo. This answers the question at 7:34.
I have watched this movie a handful of times, but have watched it on FX since they're airing it to promote the new movie. I watched your theory vids 3 times, and I believe there are 3 earths, but only 1 Leo. Here are my thoughts: At 3:29, you say that an "alt" Leo already landed on "alt" Earth before "original" Leo even landed, but at 4:40, you reference the movie establishing that the storm can bounce back frequencies from the alt universe. This explains why there is no "alt" Leo.

I thin Ik you have invested a lot of thought to it.. However, wen you say that Leo saw his alternate self ahead of hi in the storm/workmshole instead of Alpha POd with Pericles, I beleive to be flawed. Because the logical and simplest answer is that the mothership lost Alpha pod's/Percicles' signal because he was in the middle of it already and the aberrant electro-magnetic waves radiated out and obscured Alpha pod's signal. By then , Leo's pod 's signal would have also been lost.

The gun that zaius kept was a standard weapon for the crew members. Even Pericles had one in his pod. Not very strong evidence for a second Leo.
If you like Alternate universes, You should make a video explaining the movie Primer. POTApes is not that complicated, even the creators agree that thade traveled.

I had my own theories for the ending but this video completely blew them out of the water. I had thought he traveled into earths past but the pods readings show this to be untrue. My only issue is how can someone reach an alternate timeline by traveling backwards in time? Nothing i have ever seen would support something like that happening.
The person who put these 2 videos has to be a science wizard. One timeline is hard enough but to make sense out of 2 or timelines or universes or more then 1 Leo, kinda hurts the head. They should hire him as consultant next time they hope to get away with a film involving space and time. Maybe people would enjoy the film more as he obviously has a sharp logic skills to put it together.
Semos and the other chimps intelligence progressed rapidly and passed on in the genes to their descendants. This led to the ape revolution on earth assisted by an ape named Thade. And it was always standard practice for later civilizations redecorated the enemies Temples to reflect the current victors Gods. In this case they rededicated our Lincoln memorial to their hero Thade. No multi-timlines. Just Semos being born on Alt-earth was needed as a catalyst.
A quick facial recognition scan confirmed to the Oberons space agency that these old people were in fact the very same Oberon crew member they sent out as youthfull scientists. The scary message put the Oberons agency on high alert and they recalled the Oberon back close to earths orbit and removed the chimpanzees via space shuttle most likely. Due to delay, Semos was now born in an alternate earth universe where the Oberon crash never happened. See Prt 3
My interpretation is that Captain Davis did go thru a wormhole on his way back home. But the Planet he escaped from was not earth in the future with somehow 2 moons. But a different planet. The history of the Oberon in the future having nothing to do with Leos return to Ape Earth.
My theory is that the Oberon when it received the transmissions from their doppelgangers in the future was simultaneously being monitored on Earth.See Prt 2:Most Likely Explanation.

@mouloudo you just dont get it dude.. ok so leo in the beginning is at original earth, he goes into og earth's wormhole, and is transferred into alt earth 1. he then uses the pod to travel into the alt universe 1's wormhole which transfers him into alt earth 2. the reason the people in alt earth 2 are apes is because its an alternate version of alt earth 1 not the original earth!

The new Planet of the Apes was the BEST movie ever and thank god has nothing to do with the other films. Here is my explanation to the end of the 2001 film: General Thade was stuck in the ship by the glass and at some point he went back in time to the 1850s to 1860s and by some magical way he created by mating making more apes that can speak and act like him and through evolution the apes took over.

If the statue was of 'Ceasar' and not general 'Thade', it will be much easier to understand the storyline. just because that's not the case, we have to assume that Thade came fro the future to start it all ( with the help of the 'one eyed ape' - some would say )
And If we put the theory of Alternate Universe and Thade's time travelling aside, It is more probable that Ceasar is the start of the whole ape conquering the earth thing and thade is probably the one who took them to glory.

Thade didnt take over by himself, if you watch the rise, a disease will soon kill most of the humans on earth. Thade will land and fight with or against cesar for either domination, or for the power to kill the rest of the humans when cesar would rather live with them.

Maybe the pod Leo saw was Thade's and he really did fix it or if "alt" Leo did do every thing the same as the first Leo so wouldn't that mean they must land in the same exact spot and that is true where's the second pod, maybe Semos killed "alt" Leo, stole his gun, and pull his pod out of the water to keeps as well and thats why there was that died soldier ape in the water, he was under the command of Semos getting the pod out. But if Thade left in a pod why would he still be on the planet?

Tim Burton knew that this would be some confusing convoluted shit that the audience would never try to understand. i thought the 2001 movie was perfect, except for the crazy ending. that cliffhanger was WWWAAAYYY out of left field. I still dontt get where the LEO living in the Alternate version of the Ape world went. You said they fought, but Semos killed him and hid the gun. If that is true, then why did "original" Leo say that Pericles' pod found the "original" coordinates of the electromagnetic storm that sent him to "alt" earth? Pericles traveled through the same storm and wormhole from the same place ("original" earth), and after landing, the pod still had the coordinates of the electromagnetic storm from "original" earth? Later, you say that the Oberon crew's remains would've decayed. That is true, so the only logical explanation is that the skull belonged to a slave human who entered Calima, even though it was "forbiden," and was ultimately killed, meaning that it was not the skull of an "alternate" Leo. 8:17 brings up the idea that "alt" earth's wormhole might differ from "original" earth's.

At 6:23, you say that Semos saved "alt" Leo's gun as evidence, but the revolt took place on the Oberon, which was supplied with the same weaponry (as were the pods manned by Pericles and Leo). The gun could've came from any crew member fighting during the original revolt. It was not "alt" Leo's gun. 6:44 - you say that "original" Leo could've encountered "alt" Leo's remains.

At 3:38, "original" Leo witnesses his pod being displaced by the storm before it's shown entering the wormhole BEFORE it actually happens, just like the Oberon. You're right that it wasn't Pericles' pod, because it was "original" Leo's. At 5:50, you say that 2 Leo existed in one universe, which is not true because for the crew that has already crashed the Oberon on "alt" earth, Leo is missing in space, meaning there is only 1 Leo. This answers the question at 7:34.

I have watched this movie a handful of times, but have watched it on FX since they're airing it to promote the new movie. I watched your theory vids 3 times, and I believe there are 3 earths, but only 1 Leo. Here are my thoughts: At 3:29, you say that an "alt" Leo already landed on "alt" Earth before "original" Leo even landed, but at 4:40, you reference the movie establishing that the storm can bounce back frequencies from the alt universe. This explains why there is no "alt" Leo.

I thin Ik you have invested a lot of thought to it.. However, wen you say that Leo saw his alternate self ahead of hi in the storm/workmshole instead of Alpha POd with Pericles, I beleive to be flawed. Because the logical and simplest answer is that the mothership lost Alpha pod's/Percicles' signal because he was in the middle of it already and the aberrant electro-magnetic waves radiated out and obscured Alpha pod's signal. By then , Leo's pod 's signal would have also been lost.

He has a spectacular gift for editing and obviously put a lot of work into his theories.But I think he got a little carried away with the alternate Earth stuff.
The gun that zaius kept was a standard weapon for the crew members. Even Pericles had one in his pod. Not very strong evidence for a second Leo.
If you like Alternate universes, You should make a video explaining the movie Primer. POTApes is not that complicated, even the creators agree that thade traveled.

I had my own theories for the ending but this video completely blew them out of the water. I had thought he traveled into earths past but the pods readings show this to be untrue. My only issue is how can someone reach an alternate timeline by traveling backwards in time? Nothing i have ever seen would support something like that happening.

The person who put these 2 videos has to be a science wizard. One timeline is hard enough but to make sense out of 2 or timelines or universes or more then 1 Leo, kinda hurts the head. They should hire him as consultant next time they hope to get away with a film involving space and time. Semos and the other chimps intelligence progressed rapidly and passed on in the genes to their descendants. This led to the ape revolution on earth assisted by an ape named Thade. And it was always standard practice for later civilizations redecorated the enemies Temples to reflect the current victors Gods. In this case they rededicated our Lincoln memorial to their hero Thade. No multi-timlines. Just Semos being born on Alt-earth was needed as a catalyst.

A quick facial recognition scan confirmed to the Oberons space agency that these old people were in fact the very same Oberon crew member they sent out as youthfull scientists. The scary message put the Oberons agency on high alert and they recalled the Oberon back close to earths orbit and removed the chimpanzees via space shuttle most likely. Due to delay, Semos was now born in an alternate earth universe where the Oberon crash never happened. See Prt 3

My interpretation is that Captain Davis did go thru a wormhole on his way back home. But the Planet he escaped from was not earth in the future with somehow 2 moons. But a different planet. The history of the Oberon in the future having nothing to do with Leos return to Ape Earth.
My theory is that the Oberon when it received the transmissions from their doppelgangers in the future was simultaneously being monitored on Earth.See Prt 2:Most Likely Explanation.
