Alright, stop guessing. It is NOT the wind, nor is it "sound" at all. In the same way that radio signals can decode sound into electromagnetism, and then back into sound, so can you pick up natural electromagnetic phenomenon from planets, and translate it into sound. The Earth has "sounds" too, from the aurora etc (I'm not sure on the exact sources). Something to do with cosmic wind deflecting around our magnetic poles.. or something. Whatever. You get the idea.
