@FDD2012 Holds gas inside with channels for BBs (18-120). Gas is released by striking the valve release at the bottom of the shell where the grenade launcher's hammer strikes. You can use an unloaded shell in conjunction with a foam rocket or something.
@leviathan556 Hey, where do get the money to buy these nice guns? And then upgrade the crap out of them? im not trying to be mean and I love your rifle.
@unclesoflaugh Before anything you need to reset the grenade by punching in the strike valve. Then test fill the grenade. If it vents gas then it has not been reset. If it holds, then fill the grenade for about 3-5 seconds. Then load your BBs into the chambers to your liking, or stuff a nerf rocket into your M203.
Green gas is propane + silicon oil + inert gases. It is safer than propane + silicon from adapter. They void warranty of their guns on propane usage. It's a safety and liability thing. I don't use propane + AI due to mobility issues on the field as I always have to have gas supply ready. I might even switch to Escort system in the future.
US Retailer are avoiding trying to bring in GBB rifles due to Customs seizing WETech M4s a long time ago due to people trying to use the WETech trigger group in Real AR15 lower. So yeah, AEX will no longer get any GBB M4s.
I got my M4 from Redwolf Airsoft, generally you'll have no problem with getting it through customs, just make sure your retailer has money back guarantee in case it does get ceased. I got mine with all the trade marks. They may cover a portion of a companies name (e.x. Knight in Knight Armaments). Shouldn't be too hard to get one.
I got my WOC M4 with Colt trades thru Ehobby with a slight delay in customs. But it got here. The trades were covered with a rubber cement that rubbed off. I also got an WOC URX (long barrel) from AEX when they first had them available. I got the first one of two from them and I got to say its hard to go back to my AEGs sometimes. Customs seems to go after the bulk orders, but not so much the single random orders. I would only trust Redwolf and EHobby on GBBs IMO.

If I want to use propane, do I need silicone oil for my grenades?
Roflzmahwoflz 1 year ago
@Roflzmahwoflz You still have O-rings and ball bearings to deal with to maintain seals on the grenade, so it is recommended to use silicone oil.
leviathan556 1 year ago
@leviathan556 Do you prefer green gas or propane?
Roflzmahwoflz 1 year ago
@Roflzmahwoflz no difference
you can not technically have true green gas anylonger

Thought, why do people put magnifiers behind their dot system? Does it make the reticle much bigger? Or does it make it sort of an Acog effect?
NonDairyYogurt 1 year ago
@NonDairyYogurt as the name says, it magnifies. I mainly use it for spotting on my SBR.
leviathan556 1 year ago
@NonDairyYogurt It makes it 'zoom' further.

@RedSoxfan107 I don't own one, but there are several ready to be purchased at AEX. Keep in mind they are tuned for HFC134a gas.

why doesn't AEX allow propane in their range? green gas is propane.

what do you think I would have to go through to get a GBB m4 from Hong Kong. Would I have to sacrifice the nice trades and other cool markings?
