Crackin' job. I tried the previous version, but gave up eventually and went for the computer-editor route for a bit. Gave it another go with these new ones and it worked a treat, just had a 30 min jam sesh :D
@Auxend Unfortunately I don't believe OSCulator has sysex support which would be needed to control most 80s synths. Pure data isn't too bad if you devote a little time to it - if you download the "extended" version, you should be able to use the patch I linked to no problem. Another option would be to mess around with the juno controller on ctrlr.org - you might have to use OSCulator to translate the osc into midi, route the midi to the ctrlr, then make sure that ctrlr is talking to the juno.
@kosmotikshokk got it working! the trick was getting to know pd a bit more and then I realized I needed to send to port 9088 from touchOSC :) works like a charm..great work
any chance you might make or list a tutorial of how you got this working? I downloaded your .pd file and opened it in puredate and loaded your template to my iphone. The issue is that I'm not getting my input to send midi to my Juno 2. I have it hooked up to my computer via an mbox, but I'm really not sure what to do from there. any help/step by step instructions would be awesome.
This is really cool what you have done here. I have an alpha juno 1 and I have downloaded your files and installed all the necessary software. However, when I add the template to my iphone all that comes up are two sliders on 1 page (cutoff and reso). I don't see any other sliders, buttons, or pages. Can you help me please because this is awesome.
That is really cool.I'm very impressed with this.I don't have any clue of how to set that up for my alpha juno 1 so I think I'm gonna stick to my good old Alpha Juno Control to edit the sound on it.
Probably not - it's just a matter of finding the right sysex messages to send. Probably the easiest way is to hook up the MKS-7 to a midi monitor on your computer, edit the synth from the front panel, and see what the message is for each parameter.

you don't happen to have a file for osculator do you ?? I wasn't having much luck with PD but then I have no idea how that one works.
This rocks! I've modified your Touch OSC template to have all params on one page for the ipad. Not just to get the mappings going.

@epaphras12 Glad you're digging it! I guess somehow I had put up an older version of the file...
I just put up a new version of both files - make sure to nab both as I fixed a typo in the PD patch too.

Really cool stuff! Do you think it would take much to modify the pd patch for a mks-7?
