a nuke really wouldn't have done much good anyways if you think about it. most zerg are meant to die and be replace almost instantly. also i think the zerg are pretty much immune to radiation so only the initial heat of the blast would do anything.

@Gurgle528sevrules1 Yeah, but this was filmed back in the beta not using the map editor program or anything. Besides I don't even have that decal now, let alone then. But I agree it would have been nice :)

@Arksimon2k the dominion shield is built into the editor :P right click a unit, click textures then select Dominion Shield under decal :P

I kinda agree with that marine on the whole nuking thing... I honestly would call down a nuke on a base of soldiers if that base was obviously doomed... And if I was one of the soldiers, I would kinda be the guy who votes for "Alright! if im gunna die, im taking those fuckers with me!."

@WholesomeBurn Oh, yeah totally! I was trying to show what choices the Dominion would take in moments like that. It's certainly what Mengsk would do, but definately not what Raynor would do.

Since this ghost hates the dominion, he probably doesn't like that decision either.

@TheMaxidrache Uh yeah...rookie error :P We were using changelings for 'vision' and when we nuked the place we realised we had used changelings rather than proper marines and we just didn't bother filming it all again.

@aznfire31 Yeah I was trying to get it as close to the story as possible. Basically I researched lots of lore, particularly in the era between Brood War and Starcraft 2. The Kel Morian Combine was a faction that wasn't very involved in Starcraft 2 so I wanted to bring them into the picture a little. I've been fascinated by Project Shadow Blade, but only knew little bits from parts of Starcraft: Ghost, which was never released.

@Hiuaske This was all done in-game in the beta. You can zoom in and out, and turn the camera 45 degrees left and right using Insert and Delete.

I imagine Map Editor will become better for making movies.

@LGHNGMN hehe I know but that guy voiced about 4 different roles, so i reckon he was trying to avoid making his voice sound the same, so went with that XD I was fine with it, I didn't have a particular voice in mind for that.

It was really enjoyable to watch man, but putting in a Blood Elf model with clipped ears seemed a bit out of place. All in all, you could make a whole series of what you got here though!

@Rasengu57 Yeah I know but i really don't have any other 3D modelling program unlike the winners, so i had to make do with that. Its kinda the same character as my WoW one I just translated him across :P

@langknow No website. Basically I just filmed the scenes (Fraps) stuck into an editing program (Vegas), Crop out the UI. Done.

Can be tricky to try and film without seeing interface things such as clicks and selections though.
