I love the passion of this song...He knows that he is the best for the woman...PERIOD. Now that's romantic... The song is so strong, and one of my all time favorites!!!
def not the best chicago album most of chicagos 80's and 90's albums were brutal, thier best music was from from CTA to hot streets all their number one hits were from that called the terry kath period that was also thier prime kinda like journey when steve perry joined infinity and evolution which was thier prime. chicagos prime was def late 60's and 70's. cause they were rocking . after that they became soft.
LOL alright there buddy. just saying that was a disgraceful time in Chicago's era. its kinda funny that your favourite album was the album that was horribly overproduced, artificially manufactured by the record company as a bad attempt to keep Chicago in the charts. Even the band themselves didn't like their position during this time.
And all of that is NOT an opinion, thats just what happened, GOT THAT?
This my show my (lack of) age, but this is definitely my favorite Chicago song. (and Peter Cetera isnt singing!!) I remember my pops had this tape, and we always used to have it on.
Definitely my favorite song from 18, and one of my fave Chicago tunes, even though Cetera wasnt singin'. Regardless, I Love this song. Reminds me of cruisin with my pops back in the day
I can't keep saying it; but i love this song soooooooo much. The bass lie is so on :) Please visit my site if you like this vid :)No, trying to take away from ya Gold :) Great site :)
Well, actually I was speaking of the production not the writing , the writing goes without saying. David really made this recording shine for the band , I've seen Chicago 9 or 9 times in my life and the 18 tour to me was the most memorable.

One of David Fosters greatest accomplishments
hanky2112 4 years ago
Well, actually Steve Kipner and Bobby Caldwell wrote it.
David Foster arranged it together with them.
