your son will use american sign language and speak voice for both world share or only speak voice not sign language when get older age i just wonder because i plan get cochlear implant and i like use sign language and speak voice share both world still real me always deaf person inside .
@limdaf you can do both! My sister has a cochlear implant and goes to a deaf school where she signs, but she likes to speak with everyone too. It's possible to do whatever you like.
@Borninthewrongdecad1 true ..some people think cochlear implant is only hearing world but I don't believe that part ...I already told deaf friends I plan get one ..they very worry so now they already understand my choice want to.
