Passing and shooting isn't a big part of a defenseman's job, of course since Bobby Orr, and the likes of NIklas Lidstrom, and Niedermayer it has it's plus'. Put Komisarek on a line with the likes of Schenn, or Kaberle or another puck moving defenseman(like Markov in Montreal) than you have the best of both worlds, ie Beauchemin and Niedermeyer in Annaheim.
