  • good stuff, clean passes. the 'magical gesture' you do for the first few ones to make the card come back to the top is kind awkward lol, kinda looks like a weird spasm. make the movement smaller and gentler. other than that, awesome stuff

  • Haha ok then :). the thing is with those kinda movements, not only does it look a little odd but it makes laymen suspicious that you did something, when you didnt do anything at all. a simpler motion will make it look more magical and less like you just did some shifty, awkward move when you didnt do anything lol

  • if lay people see a move and something happening...over and over, it will anchor that movement to "something happening". if you repeat the process over and over then you can make" that move" during anything and make nothing look magical!! its called anchoring & magicians repetition.. if you pick up a book in NLP you'll see "Anchoring" there.

  • yeah i know about things like that, like picking up doubles the same as you pick up singles and so on so everything looks the same, but the movement you did is not relaly like any other move haha so im not too sure what you mean by achoring in terms of the move you did.

  • ive done that move to a million lay people, they genuinely believe that i bring the card to the top with a flick, and i also demonstrate a few passes and let them know ill do a pass just as fast one handed. thats the point

  • well im not sure why you would want them to think you are just doing some secret move, if you're doing it to lay people i would assume you would want it to appear magical. not sure why you would show lay people "how fast you can do a pass one handed", lay people shouldnt even be aware of passes at all so im not sure why you would want them to think you're doing some flick move to bring it to the top.

  • maybe i misunderstood what you said, but the idea should be to bring the card to the top without any movement, or at least without any particular obvious movement like the one in the video. unless you're just demonstrating "how fast you can do a pass" when actually you're not doing anything at all, which seems a little odd but fair enough haha.

  • i forgot to mentioned in some routines i do a poker demo and i do the pass and then i show them exactly how the pass is done...after that i tell them "there is a one handed pass that is so quick it cannot be scene and its a poker player that has that you should be scared to play in a underground poker game" and then i do that flick move and there like WTF! haha

  • those passes were top class,makes me want to practice now!

  • if you want a tip, practice your passes with 2 full decks to strengthen and stretch your hand muscles also get hand massages, after doing it for a while you be able to pass with so much speed that you wont even need to hide your angels.

  • Youre passes are quite nice, but youre original labels are misnomers; you start off not doing a pass...then you go to the "one handed pass" which was executed well, but dont bother with the flick on youtube...everyone knows it doesnt do anything.
